I came here for a Latin club night with dj groups from Tijuana converging on this unassuming night club. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the crowd and energy. The staff were having a slower day but friendly none the less. Bathrooms for the men were solid and no towel guy which I was stoked on. Basic margarita was tasty and maybe a bit artificial, but hey, it is what it is. Just glad the programming was fun.

This place is a mess, it’s not a first time we’ve been charged in a event when it supposed to be free entry…
This specific security guy shouldn’t not be working anywhere, he doesn’t know how treat customers and not even know how tohandle a conversation. He was charging some people $10 or $5 at the door. He asked me to show where was saying the event was free, and I did.
He said they are saying is free but PB Avenue is saying $10 bucks, pay or leave…

It’s so pathetic, not about the money which is real cheap but the absolutely terrible customer service. I understand he doesn’t make much money working in a small venue but steal money from the venue and the customers is a terrible way.

You guys should hire a better staff and find a proper manager to run the club, it’s always a joke.
I like to support my DJ friends but there’s no way to bring my friends for this type of environment. We goes to party not to fight or get scam…

I went to meet some friends here after work and the bouncer was the biggest douche. He wasn’t letting me use the atm to pay the cover and overall was being super disrespectful. Being someone who works in the service industry in Gaslamp I’ll be sure to let everyone know this spot is trash and a waste of time. I don’t know his name but the bouncer was ~50 y/o yt guy. I’ll be happy to recommend them anywhere else in PB!

We visited on Sunday night and were extremely disappointed by the behavior of the bouncer. He was disrespectful and made inappropriate requests toward several girls in our group, asking them to flash him multiple times after they said no. He also spoke rudely of women outside the venue. This kind of conduct is unacceptable, and we will not be returning to this venue.

If I could rate this place 0/0 I would. I had the worst experience being out and about with my family on my brothers graduation day. We walked in to this bar spent 100$ to get in hoping to have a good night and the dumb little white bartender/ security guard that wanted to act like a cop accused my brother of taking drinks and walking out. She caused a whole scene because she thought he took random drinks off the table and then she ran back inside without taking any accountability of being wrong. When we had just gotten in and went to order drinks my brown brothers tried to order a vodka Red Bull and she said that they don’t make that 5 minutes later I go in without knowing any of this has happened and order a vodka Red Bull ( I am white Mexican ) her ignorant self probably didn’t realize we were all together and served me a vodka Red Bull with no hesitation ? I asked the bouncer for her name and they refused to give it to me because they said she’s been a problem. I hope her manager sees this and makes it an issue because she was acting way out of line. I was here on 05/10/24. @1:00AM she was wearing a hat and a bun hair style. She had tattoos all over her arms and couldn’t be more than 30 years old.

Bartender wouldn’t take my order because I was screaming in his ear according to him. Why would one work in a loud bar like that then? Even apologized, and told him I usually talk a little louder because of my accent. Didn’t matter to him though, still no drink for me. Nice way to scare off customers.

There was a security guard quite young with blonde hair and blue eyes standing outside as we left. My friend exited with a drink she was going to finish and this young man forcefully ripped the drink from her in a very inappropriate way without any mention of why he was touching her. Not only should he have never touched her in the way he did but also you need to ask politely either finish it inside or toss it out before leaving the property. Horrible experience. Please educate your staff on how to politely address customers instead of handling them in and aggressive way.
