I recently visited the Smith’s Ranch drive-in movie theater, and it was an enchanting experience! Everything worked seamlessly, making it one of the best nights I’ve had in a long time. The prices were incredibly reasonable, with tickets and concessions like popcorn and drinks being generously affordable. Watching a movie under the stars with excellent audio through our FM radio and a crystal-clear screen was truly special. The exceptional staff, who were friendly and eager to ensure we had a fantastic experience, added a personal touch to the evening. Overall, our visit was a perfect blend of nostalgia, fun, and relaxation, and I highly recommend this drive-in theater for an affordable, enjoyable night out under the stars!

What a treat Smith’s Ranch is! We came into town to visit Joshua Tree NP. Coming to the movie was a perfect way to spend the evening after a long hike and day at Joshua Tree. The folks running the place are so nice and working so hard to keep concessions and the movie running smooth. The sound was great, food was affordable and tasty, and it was a prefect way to spend a Saturday night. Highly recommend!

My first time ever trying the drive in theater!
We absolutely love it. We didn’t know that most of people bring their own radio so we were a bit worried about our car dying after having it 4~5 hours run for the radio but it was fine. At the end of the movie, they offer boosting you up if your car doesn’t start, too. I thought that was a nice touch. We also didn’t know people don’t bring outside food as a courtesy so we packed our own food but next time we would like to try their hot dogs and pop corns! The restroom seems pretty clean, which was a def plus for me!

Awesome place to go see a movie in Twentynine Palms. More so when you consider it's the only thing you're in the area other than live performance Theater 29. But this place is really good it's only five dollars a person I mean come on what other movie theater can you go for only five dollars? Also they have really good deals at the concession stand comparing to other theaters it's cheaper than I've ever seen before. Also since it is a driving you could even bring your own food and eating your car that is also a plus.

It was a good place to visit. Staff helpful. Loved the radios they gave for your car. Newer cars especially don't have an accessory setting. So the radio automatically shuts off. So the radio they provided made it possible to hear the movie 🍿

Really neat place they got running here. It is very rare now in these days to find a drive in movie theatre. Plus considering there is not much things in the city of Twentynine palms California it is even more extraordinarily to find such a place like this here in Twentynine palms California.

It is only five United States dollars that is an amazing deal to see a movie at a drive in movie theater let alone a movie theatre.

Plus they have two movies for that price so it is like paying two dollars and fifty cents. Amazing wonderful deal right.

Oh and don't get me started on the bargain prices at the concession stand come check it out for your welds everyone.

Me and my kids love this place. I'm glad they're here cause I hate driving over an hour to see a movie. Awesome staff members and the hotdogs are amazing.
