As we head home after an exhausting weekend at the 24 hour race, I want to reflect on our experience. The people who were racing were some of the most amazing people I have ever met! We had a great time with them.

We just hosted a race and my most important job is to make everyone feel welcome. Without racers and spectators you don't have a race! So as you do with hosting any event you want to be appreciative of your guests! Now with that being said.... our team has been to lots of races. And most of the staff at this race were unfriendly and standoff people I have ever met.
When we first got there there was a speech about the importance of God and being good to each other etc. As seen, the Christian attitude was missing. I am truly disappointed with the way we were treated. We had not slept, walked not rode anything! We didn't stop at all! Everyone was tired but kindness is a huge thing! I went to ask a question and the rude Nike hat woman jumped down my throat. After jumping down one of our guests throats and throwing f bombs at her I was gonna go smooth things over and she made me feel very uncomfortable. As with any race we all stood at the score tent which we do at every race! And I was startled at and still talked about along with the other guests among the staff. So badly that one of your guests heard them talking about the other lady and warned her not to come around. They were hunting her down. She was approached by a gentleman a couple times which was inappropriate. Then after being harassed all night and being talked about she finally got an apology if you want to call it that. But I didn't. I am very disappointed. We wanted to be able to do this race again but don't want to come back if we are gonna be treated like this.

Amazing facility operated by an amazing club. I've been coming for 11 years now, and they club never disappoint. The effort is obvious and they draw racers from all over the world. I had a guy on my row from Spain.

this club has some of the best varying terrain and PARTICIPATION in the southeast. they have crusty old guys/and gals that will whip you faster than you can say halfhelmet, and do it with a smile. GREAT COMMUNITY great races, always family friendly and extremely well organized. Google them, it's the real deal.

We always enjoy Perry Mountain motorcycle club events. Lots of room for camping, fantastic trails and great motorcycle fellowship. I've ridden events there for years and never had anything but a great experience.

How can I get information on when PMMC is open for riding? I learned about PMMC this weekend after seeing a flyer at Max Motorsports in Pelham, but it was too late for us to make the event. My son and I trail ride mostly, we are not competitive riders. Looking for a place to ride since The Ridge in Springville is closed for the summer. Thanks
