Great value course especially mid week rates. Gives old school vibes and the bar and restaurant always impress. Range is short irons only (150yrd max) and all dirt hitting off mats. Two separate and well maintained chipping and sand practice areas. Wish we lived closer.

Course is in decent shape and a nice value golf course. Overall, the facilities need some TLC. I also understand new carts are arriving soon. Staff is always friendly and they provide great service. Food is very good and also an extremely nice value. Keep an eye out for their specials too.

The golf course is good, it’s not great, with a lot of potential. The fairways need a lot of work but it seems to be the standard for most affordable golf courses around San Diego. The greens are in great shape. The back nine is fun to play! Some interesting layouts. The staff is friendly and helpful enough to get by. I will play it again if the opportunity presents itself.

Amazing golf course and driving range. Golfers etiquette is known and used as if second language. The staff and customers alike are all welcoming even for a newbie like myself. I appreciate the other golfers at the driving range showing and suggesting different techniques and corrections for my current swing style. The welcoming feeling at the establishment is a feeling that isn't received as much now and days so it's appreciated. I highly recommend this place to any other golf enthusiasts .

Cottonwood was great again today. Trouble is if I say too many good things, people come and make it crowded.
I need to say I wish the food was a little more budget-friendly. I buy food at Bonita but not at Cottonwood.
I also wish Cottonwood sold golf balls that go straight when I hit them.

This place is great! Had a flat and was running late, Kevin T. in the pro shop was super friendly and didn’t hesitate to get us golfing again. He even gave me some of his pain relieving patches from his personal golf bag after complaining about golfers elbow. Great beer, good people and affordable! First responder discounts too! Excellent weather this time of year in October as well

This was once one of the premier golf courses in San Diego County, now the Ivanhoe course is still intact and the greens are in relatively good condition. The rest of the course is not maintained at the highest level. Nonetheless the course is still very fun and I enjoy playing it.
