Clean, comfortable and affordable! Less than 50$ for both of us on date night! Thank you for keeping the movie tickets so reasonable! We can afford date night and enjoy a movie on the big screen. We will be back when more movies are available.

Nice place to watch a movie

The theaters themselves are decent. Chairs are fairly comfy. We have never had any issues during the movie at all.

The food is pretty good. They have yet to have a pretzel when I have been even though they have it on the menu. But their popcorn and nachos were good. Decent selection of candy.

It just seems to me that since they moved the buying tickets to the snack counter instead of outside at the ticket booth, that it slows the line down a ton. If you get there on time, there's a big chance you'll miss the movie because the line is backed up to the door.

Only reason for rating 3 stars is solely on the fact of the wait time just to sit down before the movie starts. If they change it back to purchasing tickets outside at the ticket counter, I would change the rating to 4 stars.

If you're in town I'd recommend waiting to go back to somewhere else to catch a new movie. Weeds grow through the concrete of a broken parking lot. And gross old theater seats of a building that will inevitably close down are not fun to sit in. Cops stay regularly to yell at people who want to dress up for screenings or play in the arcade for more than a few minutes as the owner likes to rant at customers for having too much fun. This place is gross and I'd rather drive an hour south to a real theater in Monroe than give a single dollar to this horrible, gross, anti consumer theater.

Didnt allow us to watch the new wolverine vs deadpool movie @:830, due to the last showing being 7:00. Yet it was obvious there were mistakes on the site. The employee was rude and locked us out after we asked about the inconvenience. Drove almost an hour to be locked out. 0/10. racist vibes aswell?

We were staying at Moro Bay State Park (which is incredible) & looking for something to do & decided to see "The Fall Guy" at the Stars Theater in El Dorado. We were skeptical when we pulled into the parking lot because there were no vehicles at almost 1600 in the afternoon, but it was definitely open. The lobby was clean. The guy who was handling ticket sales & concessions was friendly, helpful, & professional. When given an option, concession sizes are small or large. Large fountain drinks & popcorn (but NOT Icees) include free refills, & we took advantage of it since the large popcorn tub was a little smaller than the medium popcorn tubs at major movie theater chains. The guy took our order for the movie & concessions & promptly filled it. We went into the movie theater & discovered that we were the only ones for that showing. The theater was nice & clean & had stadium seating but not reclining chairs. It was great having the entire place to ourselves because we could laugh & talk (to each other & at the movie) & sing along with the movie soundtrack. When we left, there were other cars in & pulling into the parking lot. We would 100% return here the next time that we stay at Moro Bay.

Pretty good movie theatre for the area. We're just so glad we live some what close to get to a theatre.

Movie was great but the seats were smelly and sticky, had to move several times to find seat that were so so...
