The steak has got to be the only thing keeping this place in business. It had great flavor (most would find it salty but Im a salty person) even though it was 70% fat and not worth $40. This is a dusty & dingy hole in the wall place. The sautéed mushrooms we're awful. Potatoes not even fully cooked and dry. Never seen a place that doesn't serve Shredded cheese on a baked potato. The Fajita chicken potato was also dry, just covered in cheese. Nothing about it screamed Fajita. Table cloths were clearly outdated and over used, definitely couldn't be sanitary. It's very dim lit I can only assume in attempt to hide the 3 inches of dust caked over their also outdated displays. Got thousand island with my salad only to discover it was made with sweet pickles and it was a bit off putting. Well over an hour ordeal. Our waitress was super sweet even though our order was messed up several times. There was a long wait just for drinks. I ordered the 1/2lb boiled shrimp appetizer just to end up with 6 fried shrimp. Brought us someone elses order twice. Our food wasnt served together either. I was essentially finished with my 6 bites of steak by time they brought his potato and still forgot his sides after giving me the wrong sides. W hen they refused to make the steak right she informed me she doesn't even eat there due to the circumstances. Extremely over priced for the quality of the food and the building itself! Some how my total magically went from $90 to $94 when it should've been approximately $80! Seems like several other reviews on here have the same complaint of being up-charged, should be considered theft. #Jon Taffer would have a ball with the owner of this place!

Food was saltly and expensive. It was dead quiet even with a bunch of tables which was weird. The waitress was the shining star of the night. Unless you want to drop a ridiculous amount for mediocre food I wouldn't bother coming.

Don't let the back yard atmosphere fool you.....
$30 for a 16oz Ribeye is absolute craziness. Then account that the crushed peppercorn coating kills the steak even tho it was cooked mid rare like I like. The salad was decent.
No draft beers and the bottled beer was cowboy cool at best.
While they were not busy when I visited, the waitress seemed overwhelmed and very scatter brained.
I had to repeat my order, and explain my dietary needs several times, and well.... My food still came out wrong.

Deff do not recommend if you're a steak eater like me.....

OH the steak was soooo GOOD! My good friend Rich told me the next time I go to Camden to check out the Sandbar and recommended I get the steak with everything. It is Amazing!

I read another customers post that said it covered up the steak flavor, but I humbly disagree. The everything option was recommended by my friend but I chose to get everything but the cheese sauce. I could see cheese distracting from the meat flavor so didn't go that route, but that's a personal choice. The fried pickles, salad, and fries were also just right.

I also read other comments that the price is high, but beef (this was very good quality beef) is through the roof lately. The waitress said they hand cut the steaks to order and have a big variety of meat, like aged beef, if you want to upgrade. I chose not to upgrade this trip, but I will next time if my wife will travel with me. And the portion had to be more than the size I ordered as I had left over that filled me up a second time. They do have some more economical options if you prefer that look very appetizing.

Service was also great. Not too pushy but there when you need them. I will be back. Check them out and leave a big tip if you're treated well.

They make a killer steak. It’s the only place I know of around that you can get prime steaks, too. And their grilled vegetables are great. I would describe everything else as “no frills, but gets the job done.” We only come here for the steaks.
I have noticed a difference in the quality of the food on certain days of the week - one of the chefs makes the mac and cheese from scratch and the other chef seems like they use velveeta. We’ll be sure to come on Saturdays as that’s when it seems like the food is slightly better.

The food is overpriced for what it is. All food is greasy or butter drenched, even the salad I got had chicken like that. The pork chops are a favorite of co-workers, and are covered in butter. The waitresses state this is a scratch kitchen, and they do have some neat things like scratch croutons (fried dough). I feel that the food portions are large, but the quality and variety are low. Everything will be fried out butter drenched. Service has consistently been slow over several visits.

Update 9/26/18.
Had a filet mignon. Good food. Okay service. When bill came, the handwritten bill math didn't add up. There was an extra ~$10 thrown in to the total. After challenging it, it was described as 'part of the tax'. I refused to pay, sent it back with a request to do the math again. Got the same bill back, and the ~$10 disappeared... The total bill then matched the menu price (plus tax, plus $1 fee this pace charges for paying with a credit card.)

Basically, I caught then trying to rip me off for $10.

Buyer beware

Called in order. Still had a 30 minute wait after I arrived. Ordered the fried catfish. It was burned. Cooked to fast.
