Best theater in all of California. We made it into a family tradition to make sure and watch a movie there when we're camping, no matter what's playing just to enjoy the atmosphere at night. Make sure to bring a pillow or some sort of statium seating for comfort. The staff is also very kind and welcoming to everyone.

Hard wooden benches with backs. Movie starts after dark. Good variety available at the snack shack. Only one showing each night. Different feature each night.

My family and I have been coming here for 6 years now, and the movies are by far our favorite part! Ticket/concession prices aren't too bad compared to normal theater prices, and the benches have backs to them, so they're pretty comfy for sitting on a log. The new digital screen and projector also make for a really high quality picture, and a great experience all around!

We had a great family time at the Pinecrest Movie Theater. My only concern would be to bring seat cushions or stadium seat chairs. The benches are beautiful, but uncomfortable.
There is no other experience like it. Watching a movie under the stars with the family... #Priceless.

Where else can you see movies that are currently in the theater, outdoors with the lake and trees and the stars all around you! An occasional bat or Owl fly by! It doesn't get any better than that! The people are friendly! And the prices for the movie and food are great considering they are way up in the mountains and have to get everything trucked up that hill!!! What a luxury to have such great movies, and such a great environment, decent bathrooms and reasonable food when we are out in the woods, up in the mountains camping!! Thank you for providing my family with such a great experience year after year!!!
