Stopped in to this little store on a Friday. While I visiting family for a vacation we were driving down town, I had noticed a woman standing outside at the BBQ pit. (It was barely 8 am and raining!) The aroma and smoke caught my attention especially since it seemed unusual weather and timing to be BBQing. I thought to myself, shes must be serious about their food and low and behold, I noticed their menu included BBQ Tri-Tip and Chicken. I was excited to try a Tri-Tip sandwich and went with the 007. It took a mere 2 minutes to be handed my sand-which- no joke. It was hot and felt hearty. When I got to my car, I opened it up. I was so excited to see how perfect the sandwich looked and when I bit into it; It was literally perfection. The best Tri-Tip I have ever had, juicy, tender, thinly sliced with melted pepper jack cheese. The onion roll was soft and toasted with chipotle mayo and topped with thinly sliced veggies(romaine lettuce, red onion, tomato) and a smudge of mild salsa. The tenderness and flavor is something I day dream of often. I can not wait to return for my next holiday with my family to eat here again- They have both premade specialty sandwiches and you can of course make your own. You are missing out on the best sandwiches if you haven’t been here!

Their sandwiches are deliciously amazing. You can taste the super fresh ingredients. I asked for a lettuce wrapped tuna and it’s one of the best ones I’ve had. Just can’t beat their prices. I got to work through it on a sun dried tomato wrap it’s just too good to not brag about! ?

One of the last stop spots before heading out to lake Lopez. They have a great patio dining area behind the store if you order from their deli. The sandwiches have been on par or better for over 10 years, and the employees are great. I haven't found their menu on here and let them know to add it, but it's definitely worth grabbing a sandwich and anything else you need for the weekend.

Stopped in on our way to Pozo, and was fully interrogated by the sandwich maker in the deli lol. Really nice lady. Had a tri tip sandwich which was pretty good. Store carrie's a lot of wines and liquors. Definitely recommend stopping in for a sandwich, and brew on the way to the lake.

The people were very short with me, I didn’t feel much welcomed. It took a while to the lady making sandwiches to warm up to me and become friendly. I ordered a make it yourself sandwich and they got it wrong. The works comes with tomato and they did not put tomato on it, neither did they put the spicy mustard I asked for. I did not see avocado on it either when I asked for that too.
They remade my sandwich after I told them it was wrong and they made me throw the other one jn the trash. Such a waste if you ask me.
During making my sandwich, the lady pulled out her dirty phone to take a picture of the one slice of avocado on the sandwich to prove to me she put it on there, most of it tasted like guacamole, not worth the extra dollar I paid. Food was alright, service lacked warmth.

All in all, I would have to say it’s your last chance to turn around and try a different deli.
