What a super venue for a concert. A little afternoon rain for us early arrivals didn't dampen our spirits, just our plastic bags and umbrella we brought for the possibility. Friendly and helpful staff were all over the place. Found out a bunch of them are volunteers, very cool. Plenty of bathroom facilities that were not just potty booths. Seating was great because of the low chair requirement. Views of the mountain tops were spectacular as well as of the performance.

The Utah symphony with Cody Fry was a delight.

Beautiful scenery, beautiful music. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that the crowd control was lacking. We went when it was raining. They really do mean that they won't cancel it, rain or shine. They did have a lightning hold so wet had to stand in line instead of going into the meadow an hour before the concert. We stood in line for almost two hours, while hoards of people waited inside or under the buildings. When the gates finally opened, they let the people out of line go in front of the ones that had been waiting in the rain. There wasn't anyone around to keep order. I would highly recommend bringing an umbrella for every person in your party. For us, the forecast said only 50% chance of rain for one of the hours, but it poured the entire four hours we were there. It is the mountains after all.

This place is incredible! The view is gorgeous, the parking isn’t too far away (even the furthest spots) and the venue was well built for sound despite being outside.

We had a wonderful experience at a concert here for the summer 2024 concert series! I had injured myself earlier in the week but wasn’t able to acquire last minute ADA tickets. Sandy and Chris were SO kind and helpful and got me and my husband seated in a spot that I could easily get in and out of. They cannot guarantee last minute ADA seating and it is subject to availability so we did get lucky but Sandy, Chris, and the entire staff were so kind and worked to make me feel taken care of and didn’t once act like I was a burden or a problem. The concert itself was so fun. The symphony was, as always, just delightful. I do have a suggestion for the patrons: please stay until the end of the concert. I know leaving a crowded venue can be so difficult but I find it so disrespectful to the performers to leave before the end just to get out quicker. If you want to leave early, leave at intermission. There were A LOT of people who packed up and left within the last 20 minutes of the concert and it was so distracting to watch them gather their things and walk in front of everyone to leave. Not to mention disrespectful to those performing and putting in so much work to ensure a great show. Overall, wonderful experience. If you plan on going, please plan on staying the whole time to remain respectful to the artists and to the rest of the audience.

Went to a concert here a few weeks ago and loved it. There’s a ton of seating and being able to bring in small chairs is a plus.

If you are dead set on seeing the entire stage you’ll want to sit in the bottom half of the grass area. But no matter where you are sitting the acoustics are going to be amazing. And it’s a bonus that everywhere outside the venue is so beautiful.

This is a great venue, with great services. Sound was awesome for the concert. Great views from all around! We purchased seats which are lawn chairs,"different but fun" although we ended up standing in the lawn area the whole time.

The Deer Valley summer concert series draws us up every now and again. It's a nice venue to enjoy some music and escape the heat of the valley. The theater is essentially a hill side so you'll want to bring chairs or blankets to sit on. You'll want the low back chairs because regular chairs aren't allowed. You can also bring food in with you. However, you no longer can bring alcohol because they have a liquor license. If you don't want to bring food they have some food truck options as well as a grill where you can buy food. The amphitheater has great sound and views. If you want to be close to the stage get there early. Parking is free which is nice and you get out fairly quickly once the concert ends. I would recommend bringing a sweatshirt or jacket because when the sun goes down the temperature drops quickly.
