Great date night spot. The wine tasting was nice. Each pour explained, which was lovely. I wish there were a couple more affordable bottles, but the quality is high. Mostly (all?) European wines. Good snacks. Seasonal menu (I wanted a specific dish I saw but nothing similar was on the menu the night I went). Good ambience. Definitely check the budget. If I lived closer, I'd join the wine club just for the corkage discount.

Went for Tuesday tea time and the biscuits were perfectly delicious! Unfort, the tea was much too subtle for me, although I appreciated that it was a unique one, 30 year Hakka Pomelo. Staff were very friendly, so I'm sure I'll be back!

Very attentive service, quick food and coffee service for breakfast.

Beautiful clean place, simple and delicious menu. The oolong teas are excellent. Try the chorizo breakfast sandwich.

A very fun and cozy wine bar, with some tasty eats. The peach cobbler was actually surprisingly awesome, as were some of the other dishes we tried. Staff was very friendly, food came out quick, and the ambience is really nice. They also have a bunch of authentic snacks and drinks you can purchase to go.

Lovely neighbourhood wine bar.

Enjoyed 3 different wines on a rainy day on the back patio.

Slight small choice by the glass but lots of enjoy by the bottle.

Friendly staff, all willing to recommend places in their town.

I recently celebrated a special occasion at this wine bar, and I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations! The staff went above and beyond to make the evening memorable, offering personalized recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. The wine selection was extensive, and I savored a delightful Malbec. The ambiance was warm and intimate, with soft lighting and cozy seating arrangements that made it the perfect place for a romantic night out.

No longer a wine bar. New ownership took over, and while it’s still good it’s not as great as it was. The food is an upgrade and delicious, but the overall vibe is that it is now a fancy restaurant and not a local wine bar and place to hang and mingle. This is showcased by community table being gone, being assigned seating despite ordering at the counter and some table service. It is still good, but not a locals hang out any longer.

We had the best experience at Betty’s wine bar.
Everything was fantastic. Really chic interior. Effortlessly cool vibes. Staff were kind and welcoming.
Food highlight for me was the local whitefish green curry ceviche. Beet salad was fresh and cleansing to the palate and charcuterie board complimented wine perfectly. The bread served was A+. My favorite wine was the Tuscan Montepeloso. To top it all was desert. The Meyer lemon tarte was the perfect balance of sweet caramelization in the crust and zingy lemon in the filling. Highly recommend!
