Sacramento Honey

For only $7 an hour, I saw four comedians. Two of the four comedians were well worth the price of admission. Even though blacktop comedy gives you a disclaimer of no heckling, that doesn't save you from being heckled by the comedians. If you sit in the front row, be prepared to be picked on. The seats are comfortable and they keep the show going. There's isn't an intermission to get up and stretch your legs. This comedy place is well worth the price and you don't have to go all the way to Sacramento. IG:SACRAMENTOHONEY

Went to Blacktop Comedy last night for the first time to see my friend, comedian, Eddie Brill perform. The club is very small. I'd say it seats about 45 people, maybe a bit more. I believe it's a comedy school first and foremost, and a comedy venue secondary.

That being said, it doesn't make a difference with the way you're treated. The owners are very sweet, and go out of their way to make sure everyone is having a good time. They sold beer, and other beverages as well, I think. The stage, lighting, and sound is all good. I'd recommend Blacktop for a fun night out. You'll get some laughs and support local comedians at the same time. Win/win! 🙂

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Went there last night with a date for the "Your F'd Up Relationship" show and it was just constant laughter. Real home kind of feeling. I'd recommend this to everyone. Oh! And tickets were really inexpensive too.

Great venue for a great price. We went to a Saturday night comedy show and at $10 each, their show was a great venue. The venue is small, but comfortable. Folding chairs are seats, but they're not just uncomfortable metal ones.
The comedians were all ok, some better than others. It's clear most were amateurs, but they were still good and for $10, it's a great deal for a night out.

We had so much fun, it was our first time coming to this particular comedy club but it was not a disappointment, the comics had us in stitches. The room was very open and spacious and all the comics were visible on stage. The food was ok, my only complaint is the lack of selection from a real bar. I do understand this is a comedy club not a comedy bar so they do have some beers (5$ a bottle) I would have preferred to enjoy the show with an actual drink I'm my hand (My personal opinion).
That being said we would love to come back and catch more shows it was a good time and worth it.

We had our wedding here. This place was awesome to do our event in. Paul is a genuine guy and very kind. Paul was super understanding about everything and helpful the actual day of the event. Was also available during the even for any tech difficulties. Overall I would rate the space, quality, and how nice this place was a 10/10. Everything went well and Paul was again super helpful.

Wow!!! We recently booked this venue for my daughters baby shower. The owners were extremely accommodating, kind and offered a well set up for the festivities. The lighting was a huge plus, the option to play music through their sound system and the rooms that were used for a kids play room and to present the buffet tables. The best place in our area and easy to work with! Thank you for making our 1st grand babies shower a huge success!!!
