My daughter absolutely loved her experience with California regional theater, she just did her first show, called Something Rotten.
(The show was absolutely amazing hilarious by the way) This is her first time in theater, and she performed so well, it looked like she had years of experience!
They also recorded the show to sell to the parents, so we can keep that memory recorded! She made close friends and was happy every single day she came home from theatre, I wish I could go back in time and start her sooner. It is a great outlet for teenagers, any age really, it has built confidence in her as well. Thank you, Mindy and Bob for giving my daughter such an amazing experience That has sparked something amazing in her, she has found her thing, something she loves. Singing, dancing, and performing on stage!! I am so happy with CRT! Trying to convince my son to join too 😄

Bob and Mindy the couple that run this place are really talented at what they do. Bob has been doing theater in Chico a long time and the shows/performance show it.

My kids love Chico Regional Theater and I love all the reading, singing, art, theater, performance and friendship skills they acquire and practice under Bob and Mindy’ tutelage!

Grain Fed Worm Casting

Our family was given a one of a kind experience after the Shrek show last night. We have been going to these shows for our daughter's birthday for several years now. Last night California Regional Theatre made us feel like we were among family.

We were blown away when the entire cast all sang happy birthday to our girl. I have never experienced anything like that. Such a talented and big hearted group of people. Thank you to the entire cast and especially thank you to Mr Judah Dwight Sanders. God bless you.

I'm disappointed with my recent experience with CRT Kids. Despite purchasing tickets months in advance to see my son perform, the theater sold our seats to someone else on the day of the event. I was also disappointed with the rude behavior of the staff, who was tasked with accommodating our family. Not only did they not apologize for the misunderstanding, but they also placed us on the opposite end of where my son was performing.

What's even more concerning is that this wasn't the first time the staff has been rude to our family. It's not acceptable for a customer service representative to treat customers with disrespect.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend California Regional Theater for families with children. It's important for a theater to provide a positive and professional experience for all patrons, and unfortunately, this was not the case during my visit.

I hope that the theater can take steps to address these issues and improve their services for future customers. At the very least, I would appreciate an explanation for the ticketing mishap and an apology for the way we were treated.

My daughter wakes up in two moods...1. Day's that she's going to theater. 2. Day's she's not going to theatre. If only we could have theatre class everyday, life would be good! The staff and family related to this group is wonderful and have helped my shy daughter find a comfort in front of a large group with the support of a team. We recently took our 5 year old grandson to see Willy Wonka and he loved it! This was his 1st theater experience and it won't be his last. The actors, set design and singing kept his attention at every level. We enjoyed watching him as much as the play! Thanks!

Great Performinig Arts Company. The office is here where you can call or email to ask any questions. They're usually really busy though, so email seems best.
