El lugar ves muy bueno, tiene acceso directo a la playa para caminar, puedes visitar varios hermosos lugares a su alrededor. Disfrutando el atardecer desde el balcón de tu habitación.

The rooms all face the ocean. Really nice walking path in front of hotel.
The two beds in the room were very separate which was nice.
Rooms are spacious. Needs are comfortable. Everything seemed clean.
It's a mile walk to a decent dinner but an easy drive to great food.

Horrible redecorating if you can call it that. Our room was still under construction. Baseboard missing, old gas pipe not properly capped and removed, unfinished ceiling in the bathroom, light bulbs that don’t match. No desk if you want or need to work. Sheets don’t fit the bed so they kept coming off and I could go on. Really weird furniture that does not match existing decor. Get a professional decorator, please. Our stay felt abusive. Never again.

You will either love it !!! OR find an issue and complain about it....if you can overlook who ever decorated this establishment...its GREAT.....The rooms were furnished with what we needed....
The 2 queen is huge...the beds and pillows where comfortable...the bathroom is big....the Balcony with the comfy chairs is breathtaking and relaxing if you enjoy the ocean....with plenty of quality coffee supplied to balance the chill....the little things that might have been missing, I didn't miss....Our stay was great !!!!

We have stayed here many times, and we've raved about it for over 20 years to everyone we know....until now. There were new people in the office, and the guy that was at the front desk when we arrived was far from friendly and welcoming! There were so many awful changes in the room, and many changes are needed. Instead of the soft colors, they now have heavy, gold, gaudy furniture: headboard (which if it fell it would kill you), footboard (which by the way was cracked in two places), gold tables with very flimsy legs, and a large heavy gold cabinet for the TV. Many updates are needed; the shower door was extremely moldy, hard to open and close, and ready to fall off, the toilet must be the original one, the same trash cans are in the room that have been there for over 20 years, and the sink has so many cracks in it, I can't believe it doesn't leak. The whole bathroom needs remodeling, which would be money better spent than the gold furniture and headboard - which doesn't fit the whole ocean/water vibe anyway, it's out of place in this beautiful ocean setting. The rooms always had a 2nd small sink which was great, but it's been removed. The carpet is new and beautiful, the TV was larger, and there were new chairs on the balcony, which was nice. I guess the price of over $300.00 a night is for the view and easy access to the ocean and beach, which is fantastic! We were told that they have suspended daily housekeeping, so what was the tip envelope for? We went to the office to get extra supplies on our own. We still love Fort Bragg and the hotel's location is great, but......we have second thoughts about staying here again - and by the looks of the parking lot, others do too! It was definitely not nearly as busy as in year's past. Because this is a spectacular area please make it even better for all of us!

Pulled in during a road trip early November and couldn't have been happier than what I secured with them for two of us and two separate rooms... The guys behind the desk were so helpful and wonderful and it was quiet peaceful and a really good price... Thank you

It seems like it would be almost impossible to have anything bad to say about a hotel we've been to many times in the past that has the best view anywhere... but sadly here goes... I will only say that the owner's money and time would have been better-spent actually maintaining the bathroom before over-filling the room with tacky, oversized furniture. Bad taste and dated fixtures can be forgiven because the room was clean, but blocking the million-dollar view with "throne" chairs facing into the room that serve no purpose? That's wrong (and can easily be corrected!) Please, spend $10 to replace the hook on the bathroom door and $25 to replace the worn-out toilet seat. Ocean View Lodge gets 4-stars for the location.
