The skewers are great. Some exotic/unusual stuff there like chicken feet, gizzard and yang bao (goat testes) ..... Ask the skewers are heavily seasoned so order a noodle soup to balance it out... Or alcohol....

Everything else was great too. The grilled eggplant and grilled oysters are so yummy with the garlic sauce.

Fried chicken was so tasty with the salted egg yolk but really a bit pricey.

Cool looking place. Love the ambience with all the neon lights and the round booths. Fish tanks next to the tables are cool but need maintenance. Poor fish!

The menu is huge! We definitely found things we wanted and it all tasted great, but it's dangerously easy to over order. The menu is on 39miles (mobile) so you sort of start to forget what you've tapped on as you progress through the menu and then, boom, you accidentally ordered way too much. The atmosphere was fun (and very engaging for children). The staff is nice.

The only issues are service kinks that can be worked out with a little effort: Provide non-spicy option for the skewers. When a kid comes in, consider automatically giving kid-friendly utensils. When rice is ordered, consider bringing it with or before the dishes that are meant to go with rice.

Yang & His Family

Expensive! Each string (not each order, see in pics) will cost 3-4 dollars with only like 5 small meat chunks . They taste as expected but didn’t surprisingly delicious — meaning I am looking for some native Chinese style taste, not from the spice I can do myself. Feels they missing something in their recipes. After all, if you are from a place had no Chinese style BBQs, you can try here, prepare about $60 for one person with medium amount of orders.

I recently checked out this BBQ spot and was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was. The spicy noodles in clay pot were really good – the sauce had a nice kick and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The lamb skewers were also really tasty – the meat was tender and flavorful, and the portion size was generous. The fresh oysters were a nice treat – they were super juicy and had a nice briny flavor. And the Chinese chive dish was a nice way to balance out all the rich flavors – it was light and refreshing. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some solid BBQ dishes.

非常赞的川湘风味餐馆👍有各种风味烧烤串都还不错。出国多年找到了川湘风味的串串锅，非常饱口福。另外十分推荐金汤虾滑肥牛这道菜，每次来必点。饭后把汤带回去下一份刀削面就又是一顿饭！小姐姐服务都很不错，十分推荐这家南湾餐馆！

I had the pleasure of dining at Always Cool BBQ and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The food was absolutely delicious! Every bite was bursting with flavor and left me wanting more. The meats were cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, and the sides were equally as delicious.

The atmosphere was also great - casual and laid-back, perfect for a relaxing meal with friends and family. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which only added to the already wonderful experience.

I highly recommend Always Cool BBQ to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal.
