my wife and I came here for the first time to celebrate an anniversary. we made a reservation. the hostess was initially going to sit us in the lounge area. seriously, why would we make a reservation if we wanted to sit in the lounge with TVs going🤦🏻‍♂️? Easy to resolve cause the place wasn't busy. It's a very nice place. Our server was good and food came out at a good pace. For Italian it's a bit pricey but overall ok. My wife and I both had the specials. the lasagna for her and halibut for me.and we shared the soup. we'd likely come again but it's certainly not an itch if you get my meaning.

Wow wow wow wow, this place is amazing. We had a 50/50 shot at having Italian, on one side of the street was Massimo's and the other side Olive garden. Thank goodness we chose Massimo's. What an amazing place. The ambience, the service, the food come with a live music this place is a great place to take a client to take your significant other, we had such a good time. We ordered the bolognese, Petrale Sole, drinks and Sorbet All of which was incredibly tasty, hot and enjoyable. The service is incredible, our waiter was just amazingly attentive, watched our table recognize when we needed something he was there Johnny on the spot, the food was incredible, they had live music which just really set the tone for the whole night. Highly recommend you check Massimo's out, we will definitely be going back. 5 out of 5 stars.

Can't wait to go back and have the bananas fosters made out our table.

Had decent birthday dinner for friend. All platters were tasty. Short ribs and fried zucchini were very good.

I had been looking forward to dining at Massimo's Restaurant due to its great reputation for food and ambiance, but unfortunately, my experience was tarnished by the behavior of the host, which left a sour taste even before we were seated.

From the moment we arrived, the host’s demeanor was shockingly unwelcoming. She spoke in a rude and dismissive tone, which felt, to be frank, borderline discriminatory. After abruptly informing us that “someone will take it from here,” she walked away without even showing us where to go, leaving us awkwardly standing and unsure of what to do. When I politely asked her why she was being so rude, she responded with an unbelievable comment: “You’re rude by appearance.” This was not only unprofessional but also deeply offensive and inappropriate.

Thankfully, the food and our server managed to salvage the evening. The dishes were fantastic, and the server was attentive, kind, and professional. The restaurant itself has a lovely ambiance, making it all the more disappointing that the front-line experience was so unpleasant.

For a restaurant of this caliber, it’s crucial to invest in better training—or better hires—for such a pivotal role. A host sets the tone for the entire dining experience, and sadly, this one failed spectacularly. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because this kind of behavior is unacceptable and doesn’t align with the otherwise high standards of the restaurant.

Overall, while the food and service were great, I hesitate to return unless the restaurant addresses this issue. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, ours was far from welcoming.
