From walking in to the restaurant until leaving, our experience was the absolute best! We came in to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary and have never been here before. The food was all delicious and Elliott was an amazing server! Very personable and made the experience even better! All of the staff was very attentive and gave us five star service. We will definitely be back!

Went here for a birthday dinner. It was our first time here we had heard good things about the food here. Made reservations online which was very easy dinner was a little late because it was a Saturday and that was understandable. 830 dinner reservations. we arrived 10 min early and waited 10 min after our arrival time. Once seated we were quickly helped and easily ordered. New York Steaks were overdone and to be completely honest I can cook a better steak. I have gotten pretty good at it lately but, it was nice to have someone else do it for my birthday. Sides were very good but on the small side potatoes au gratin and asparagus. we took the cheese cake to go. The price was not too expensive for a nice steak dinner out. Staff was friendly and attentive.

First time at Ruth Chris Steak House in Sacramento. I've been to others, but this experience was by far the best. The service, ambiance, and food were all amazing.

Our server Diane Aka Mama Dee was the absolute best. Professional, personable and efficient.

The food is always top-notch here. The staff is friendly & eager to accommodate your needs. I only gave 4 stars for the atmosphere because the lighting is quite dim in this restaurant. Depending on where you sit, you may need your phones light to read the menu. Also, it seems like gone are the days when you went to a restaurant like this & actually put some effort into the way you would dress. Most of the diners were in t-shirts, tank tops, sweat suits & even shorts.

Took my wife out for her birthday. The staff were friendly and even the sever went above and beyond to make sure the birthday girl was take care of. I cannot compliment the staff enough for the wonderful and remarkable night she had. Thank you again and look forward to going back on our next special occasion.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary. Neither one of us had eaten here. It's definitely one of the best decisions we've made. You enter and the atmosphere is so inviting. We went at a perfect time as it wasn't too crowded. Best service. Toniell did an amazing job not only with the knowledgeable food choices but also with continuously checking up on us. Thank you again, Toniell, for such wonderful service. (If reading this, the kids weren't asleep, lol.) We will definitely make this our anniversary spot and hope to continue to build the best memories here.

In the photos there are blueberry mojitos, sizzling crab cake, spicy shrimp ( our favorite), 11oz filet with a lobster tail, ribeye with a lobster tail, garlic mashed potatoes (another great choice), lobster mac and cheese and chocolate sin cake.

Today, our family splurged on seeing Hamilton and then dinner at Ruth Chris for an 82 year birthday celebration. We get there for our reservation at 4:45 and our 82 year old has a hat on due to a medical condition. The three women at the desk informed the 82 year old they had a hat policy and she would need to remove her cap. And they said it so others waiting looked up. My mom was humiliated.
Then one woman said she needed to talk with the manager and took off. All the while other parties were being seated. I went and found the manager and was really upset. I informed the manager that she needed to wear a hat.
The insensitivity of the manager and hostesses was appalling. I got us a table and tried to make the most of a really horrendous and totally preventable situation. Our waiter was fantastic but the manager and policies horrible.
Shame on Ruth Chris for not training managers to use some common sense when dealing with an elderly person.
SHAME ON WHAT WAS ONCE A NICE PLACE.
Beware if you have a condition where you may have to wear a hat or are a senior citizen that can be intimidated, do not go there. Oh, and below is the absolutely amazing 82 year old you showed no courtesy or respect ... so you can all see the KNITTED hat they wanted her to remove.

Review from 7 year old boy. Their food and service was great! I got the artichoke dip, it tasted great with a nice amount of goat cheese and a good amount of artichoke. As a side, I got the potato’s au gratin, it was a good mix of potato’s and cheese. For the main course , I got the Ruth’s chop salad. It had a lovely amount of cabbage which went nicely with all the other components of the salad. For dessert, I got the creme brûlé. It had a lovely marshmallow pudding taste with a nice sugar shell on the top. Their bathrooms had nice wooden stall doors and lovely paper towels that felt like a mix of cloth and it felt like a premium paper towel. This place is a great place to celebrate a special occasion.
