Been going to this theater for years now. Nothing special, but it is in a great location. It has been serviceable until what happened today. I will likely not come back.

I went to the 2:15 showing of Gladiator 2. Things were going well until upon returning to my seat after getting some salt for the popcorn, there was a DOG in-front of my seat….. a poodle to be exact. Throughout the course of the movie the poodle tried to come up on my seat and lick me, had a full on freakout that disturbed many other patrons, smelled awful, and was going underneath our seats….. I’ve never heard of a movie theater that allows dogs into it. I understand if it was a service dog, but this was an untrained personal pet. You’d think the theater would require them to sit in a specific area, but no, they were allowed to sit wherever and do whatever they wanted. I would’ve rather saved my money and rented the film at home.

The biggest bummer was it completely distracted me for most of the film. I’d recommend going elsewhere for movies. Do better Downtown Centre Cinemas!

Went to this theater today for the first time and likely will not go back. We went here because it was the only local theater showing the Bob Dylan movie. The seats were all ripped and faded, and they had these nasty tarps over them. I wouldn't even open to the public with seats that looked that way. Then the movie had started and was probably 10 minutes in and the main lights were still on. We went to tell someone about it and they said they were working on it and they had no idea how long it would take to get them off. I mean, that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of, not knowing how to turn the lights off once the main feature begins. It's so obvious this isn't a national chain because that would never happen or look like that. I like to support independent businesses, but this one missed the mark.

Nice theater in cute downtown SLO. Very comfortable seats with recliner and rocker options providing unobstructed views of the big screen. The sound system is excellent. Parking can be a bit challenging especially on busy nights.

This movie theater has all recipe for a great movie and experience.

Recently was here for a special showing and was really nice to see that they really take their decorations and lighting seriously. I loved the murals on the wall and the whole vibe was on point.

I do like that they have wine if you want. However was a tad high and a pretty small pour. Not a game changer just a note.

The movie theatre itself was amazing and loved the reclining seats. Very conformable and good experience.

With all the positive why the four stars. Well only thing was the service. Not bad just felt like they did not want to be there and no real acknowledgement or friendliness.

I definitely like the direction and the theater and will be back.

This place is run down, and don't offer refunds/exchanges if the movie isn't good. The place was pretty dead on a Sunday, and it's obvious as to why. The place is run by greedy and cheap owners. Youre better off going to a nicer theater in Santa Maria or Arroyo Grande who have better customer service and are better run. Don't waste your money or time here!
