Review of India’s Oven, North Fulton Area, Fresno, CA

As a lover of Indian cuisine, I was thrilled to discover India’s Oven in the North Fulton area of Fresno. Despite being a single diner, I found the variety of vegetarian dishes impressive.

The Chili Cheese Naan was a delightful surprise—perfectly textured with just the right amount of cheese and spice.

The Navaratan Korma, a vegetable dish in a cashew curry, was a unique and delicious experience.

The restaurant boasts a friendly, minimalistic atmosphere with a secure outdoor dining area. With a great selection of beers on tap, it’s a haven for anyone craving tasty Indian vegetarian food. Highly recommended! 🌟

The food has good flavors. It does have some spiciness to it. Ordered the rice, shrimp and garlic Naan. The mango yogurt smoothie was very good. Haven't tried the other dishes but I did enjoy the ones I ordered.

Didn’t get to try the food, but the drink I ordered was really good. Emilio the bartender was very friendly and attentive. My husband and I came from Modesto to watch the monster trucks this weekend and decided to explore the area. We chose this nice little restaurant/ bar, very charming and welcoming atmosphere. We will try the food next time. 9/10

The food here is delicious! The butter chicken in a must. I've driven past this place a hundred times and finally stopped in today for lunch with a coworker. I am so glad I did. The inside is so nice and very clean. Our server Kim was so friendly and had great recommendations. Definitely will be going here regularly.

The food was tasty, but be warned that most takeout orders of meals don't include rice. I asked for rice picking up my meal, and was informed it would be over $5. That's a lot for a small steamed rice.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Ok, where do I begin! When you first walk in you get a very inviting and at home vibe. The customer service is un matched! The manager, Jackie, went above and beyond for us! I'm so sorry I didn't get the chefs name but his lamb rib special is out of this world!. We ended the meal with Paula's (bartender) own, misty sour shooters, and they were amazing as well. I can honestly say it was the best Indian cuisine experience I have ever had! Reasonably priced fair portion sizes but most importantly great customer service and delicious food and drinks!!!

Visited the restaurant today with a couple of friends, and highly disappointed with both the food and especially the service.

First, they served our table expired canned sodas. We only realized after we had consumed half of them… and upon questioning they simply took the sodas back (and didn’t charge for it eventually). However, it’s unacceptable to serve sodas that expired almost 4 months ago!

Also, during bill payment their Apple Pay wasn’t working at the time (which is okay), but another of the staff member, who didn’t even serve our table, started arguing with us on this topic. And told us to go find an ATM somewhere and get cash.

Another observation we had was about another group table. The 4-5 staff members were busy chatting among themselves at the end of the day (around 21:30) and a person literally came to them to ask for water… was told to wait. I guess chatting is more important, and ‘customer first’ practice is clearly not valued at this restaurant.

Overall, highly disappointed and will not recommend this restaurant, let alone for their subpar Indian cuisine.

I loved this restaurant, it was amazing! It’s a pretty long drive from my house but I’ll still be coming back often. The food was amazing and so was the service. I was in love with the decorations and all the detail put into the place. It was gorgeous. The food was the best, I’ve tried making chicken curry at home and it’ll just never taste as good as this place! I will definitely be coming back. The service was awesome as well.
