My good friend and I went to visit here all the way from pasadena,ca to see what all the hype was about. Let me say this.... anyone who loves Asian bakeries and sweets and all things gourmet desserts and drinks has to come here. Yes, we drove an hour to try it. But honestly, it's so worth it. It is the best place to just come with a friend or a few friends to drink tea and have a dessert together. You could honestly just come here to read or study or just have a little me time here if you wanted. Everything we had was divine. And we will definitely be back. My only request is that you guys make a location in pasadena! It would be so worth it! Maybe someday? 😊

My friend and I discovered this place during our visit to OC, this place is located conveniently in a central location, we were able to navigate to the shop without much hassle.

The menu has quite some varieties, there were a lot of desserts displayed on the shelves as well, only thing that we were confused with was the price on the menu, they didn’t have them labeled.

We were delighted by the drinks we ordered, they were the matcha latte and the elderberry drink, both were pretty delicious and visually pleasant.

We sat by the book section, the shop has plenty of seating areas, all the interior decorations are very welcoming and presentable, among us, there were also other parties of people, we could tell that they also enjoyed the atmosphere very much.

We would give this shop a 5-star rating despite that we couldn’t find the price on the menu, 2 drinks ended up with less than $20, overall, we would like to share this positive experience with people, and we will definitely bring our friends for another visit.

I was looking for a place to enjoy some afternoon dessert after a movie and stumbled upon The Vintage 1979. Initially, I was unsure if I was at the right location because it's nestled in a small strip mall surrounded by shops for reptiles and other businesses. However, hidden behind a row of trees and plants was this beautiful little restaurant, an oasis in Orange County.

The ambiance is simply enchanting, with an interior that makes you feel like you're in an exotic locale. The decor features green leaves, plants, wicker chairs, and a charming Asian influence, reminiscent of a grand hotel lobby in Vietnam or Thailand.

For drinks, I had the orange latte, which was absolutely delicious--a sweet, cold latte with a refreshing orange on top. My wife enjoyed a tea service for two with aromatic, non-caffeinated tea that was excellent. We also sampled a few desserts, all of which were lovely and tasty.

What truly stood out was the environment--it felt like a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. The combination of the beautiful decor, excellent service, and delightful treats made it a perfect spot for a charming break in the day.

I highly recommend The Vintage 1979 for anyone looking to enjoy a unique and delightful dessert experience in Orange County.

This is such a cute cafe! The best part is that it opens until like 10 PM, so you can enjoy a fancy boba or dessert after dinner. It was easy to find parking as well. The menu has a lot of options to choose from, and I like that the drinks weren't too sweet.

Nice place with good people.

The service was fantastic - she has a good rapport and really welcoming since we got there. It was also fast service (went there with probably 2 tables were occupied, so it’s not so busy).

The place was really cozy, plants everywhere and really fits the instagram vibe. I think it is a cool place to hangout and even have your work done here. They have outdoor and indoor sitting.

Food and drinks have so much choices from coffee, tea to refreshments. They also have cakes and other more food they offer.

Will totally visit again if we can
