Sin duda el hotel con mas encanto y magia que encontré en estados unidos.||Muy buena atención, el hotel muy limpio y lo mejor de todo es la libertad que te dan para poder hacer fuego por la noche.||Las habitaciones forman una U, y en el centro hay un "jardín" con una hoguera en el centro y sillas alrededor. Tienes libertad de coger la leña y hacer tu propio fuego. Lo hicimos un hombre de Los Angeles y yo, teniendo una charla muy agradable e interesante, poco después se unió gente de Colombia y Francia. No es una estancia en un hotel, es una EXPERIENCIA.

Motel con mucho encanto. Las habitaciones son amplias y muy limpias. Ambiente agradable. Puedes probar vinos de la zona en el jarden del propio motel. Buenos restaurantes por los alrededores. Muy recomendable.

Starting with the good: Friendly staff, nice fire pit area along with a bar. Comfortable king bed. Location is great too. ||The not so good: the room we had was not comfortable. Plywood flooring made the room feel cheap. The bathroom was so small. There is no where to put anything you need (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, etc). The lighting in the room is terrible. The table and chairs were rickety and uncomfortable. ||Given what we paid per night, I can’t recommend this motel. There are better places to stay. With a remodel, this place has tons of potential, but as is, I wouldn’t return.

This hotel is Basic with capital “B”: spartan rooms with stained plywood floors, almost no light to speak of, one of the tiniest bathrooms I’ve ever been in (reminds me of some train compartments I’ve been in!) We got a King bed, and then found out the Queen bedded rooms are better equipped, with claw fort tubs and some with kitchenettes. We were close to the road too - a bit of noise. The best part was the staff, who were very nice and accommodating. The lovely fire pit area was wasted on us, as the firewood they had was so green and wet, even the Boy Scouts among us couldn’t get the darn thing lighted. They are across the street from famous Bell’s restaurant, hence their ability to charge $300/night for the privilege of waking across the street. Recommend you stay at a better place in Los Olivos or Buellton/Solvang and Uber it back and forth. Heard there’s another property called SkyView Lodge nearby, which provides a shuttle to Bell’s. We’ll check that place out in another visit. The Los Alamos Hotel just isn’t a good value.

Beautiful renovated motel right in the middle of Los Alamos’ main strip. However, we could hear every single noise from the family staying right next door, as if they’re in the same room as us. Every cough, sneeze, chatter, TV sound, and I even heard their light snores after I got woken up late at night.

The front desk staff who checked us in was very lovely, but the next day we could find the other staff in the office in the middle of the day to ask for an iron.

Unfortunately it was not a restful nor comfortable stay. I highly recommend the management to consider renovating the thin walls, at least the one separating room #3 & #4.

Loved my stay at Alamo Motel! Bed and pillows were super comfy, loved the claw foot tub. Pet friendly, easy parking, cute grounds. Will definitely be staying again.
