This theater, Decatur AL is an hour from us. But we meet up with our daughter and grandson because they live an hour opposite direction.
We usually go to the earliest matinee on Sunday.
Always clean. Calm. The employees are so polite and helpful. Always a smile. They told me about the refillable bucket of popcorn to save .money.
The bathrooms ate very clean and odor free.

Their seating is not as good as they have at Madison, Cineplanet 15. It's okay though. It has a smell of old wet carpet. They really should consider taking their high dollar food prices and using it to change out the carpet. The seating, smell and price of concessions is why I took off 2 stars. The move was fine. The bathroom was DISGUSTING, which is why I took off another star. It has something on and in each stall and toilet and it smelled awful when I walked in there. They really need someone who, that's their only job ...clean bathrooms well. Their pricing for the movie and the concessions are not worth the downgraded seats and lack of cleanliness. The guy came behind us sweeping up trash ...there was nobody behind us or even close...and we got nothing and so the trash was before we even got there, but I guess that can be accidentally missed and honestly if the smell wasn't so damp and stinky smelling, I'd not take anything off. They need to invest in an ozone machine and learn how to safely use it some weekday when they have no customers and can air the place out afterwards. It would really help the smell. Then hire a worker to keep them bathrooms cleaned. Let them almost live in that bathroom. Oh ..also the dispenser for paper towels ...you take the bar that goes across the front and push it down to get them out ..you have to push that bar way too many times ..it acts like the wheel is worn out and won't catch the paper towel too easily. They either need to replace that or fix the current one. It's like a business, that was great when they first opened....but they don't keep up with the upkeep of the place. Get some vinyl planks if you can't keep the carpet fresh smelling. It's got traction and it can be swept and mopped. It also doesn't hold odors. Invest in cleaning them seats if you aren't willing to invest in new recliners. The owners need to try out the place I spoke of and take some pointers.

No cleaning between shows in theater #5 3D theater. The room was a mess! Then someone came in to clean after there were several people in the theater.
Also too cold! Commercials you could barely hear and was choppy. I hope the movie isn’t like this.

This place needs reclining chairs, other than that it's the perfect place to enjoy new movies. I like their drink variety. Staff is always happy to accommodate customers and their questions/concerns. Their food is a nice compliment to what you watch, never been a fan of theater food; it's really good here though. I like the fact you can watch them make it.

The movie was fine. I bought the bucket that you refill for popcorn and when I took it back to get the refill, I asked the girl was she going to wash her hands or put on gloves because she had just taken money at the register she said neither I’m gonna use the scoop, she did finally wash her hands with an attitude and I told her I ain’t mean to make her mad, but when handling food, you have to wash your hands. She must not know this is proper etiquette when serving other peoples food. what she does at home is her own business but please wash your hands when you’re handling other peoples food thank you.

I honestly thought this was a dollar theater before I went there. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was a normal first run theater. The place was super clean and well maintained, and every employee I talked to was either friendly, or helpful, or both! I'm an AMC investor so I was heartened by my visit.

It's crazy how expensive a trip to the movies has gotten! However, it's still a great experience watching a good movie on a big silver screen. AMC always has comfortable seats and great picture and sound
