-Seats are regular cushioned fold down, packed together

Overall, never going back. I'll definitely be taking a shower when I get home from there.

Awesome experience. Great sound , great visuals.polite service. Snack were a little hight but its ok . For the quality vs saving.quality won hands down . Saving felt not too bad tho. They had some discounts with were pleasing. Will visit again . Thank you.

I have chosen AMC as my go to theater here in the Roanoke Valley. The management and staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and enjoy engaging in conversation about current movies that are showing. The popcorn is awesome and being an A List member has its benefits. This is the place to watch great movies...

I haven't been to a movie at the AMC Tanglewood location since the beginning of COVID, so it's been a long time. Tickets are sold at the concession stand inside, so you wait in line with those getting popcorn and snacks. The afternoon matinee was not very busy, so wait was not too long. Discounts are currently given for the first viewing of each movie of the day. I'm a Belcher family lover, and chose to see the Bob's Burgers Movie. The first mid-theatre seat I chose had no seat support, and I sunk in the older seat very low! The next seat over was better. The sound was good, the screen was crisp,and the floor was not too sticky! The air was a tad chilly, but felt good at first on a hot day. There were extensive trailers which became tiresome after 15 minutes, and most were for children's movies. There were only about 15 viewers, including children, to this afternoon movie, which made for a very quiet and pleasant viewing experience.

Added July 19:
I've started going back to the movies again, and have been twice in the last two weeks. I noticed a few hiccups, but nothing major. There is a sizzling speaker on the left hand side in show room 9. It's only noticeable in quiet scenes, and not a major distraction. The floor where I sat in show room 4 was very slimy, with something oily, like maybe popcorn oil? on the floor. It was unpleasant having my feet slide around during the whole 2 hours of the movie, and I feared falling when getting up. All the other theatre amenities were pleasant, the screen and colors were crisp, the rooms were just a tad cold on both occasions. It is evident that the theatre is short staffed, but they are continuing to " make it work"!

Saw a very "quirky" movie, Amsterdam. It got a little tedious, but was still puzzling and delightful!
My party of 3 were the only viewers for the 2:15 show, so we enjoyed occasional comments during our private showing! Do they even show the movie, if there are no patrons for that show
One drawback to our comfort was the room temperature. I had on a light jacket and I was freezing! My friends seat cushion was mostly non- existent, and she sunk very low in the seat! One seat in front of us was covered, with a do not use sign.
Enjoyed the small discount for first showing before 5.
The theatre is obviously short staffed and a tad disheveled, but guess most places are like that these days!

Enjoyed seeing "80 for Brady" which was far fetched, but with great comedic talent and Tom Brady!
The theatre was cold as usual, but I was more prepared this time and more comfortable. At first the movie was sized too big for the screen, and cut off the top of everyones head, but it was adjusted in about 15 minutes, and was easier to watch. Sound was spectacular and facilities were clean. The cushioned seats were comfortable and not sagging. Good experience. Added back a star to 5!

Went to see Fly Me To The Moon and enjoyed this movie. Went to the 12:30 pm showing, so the theatre was not very busy. Only 5 people were in the movie we chose. The tickets are still being sold at the concession area, but this time there were separate lines for tickets and concessions, which made the lines move much faster. The staff were very cordial and friendly. The restroom was fairly clean. The floor in the theatre was not sticky, but the carpet could use a shampoo. The seats where we sat were not saggy, as some, and they were comfortable. The film was crisp, but there was a noticeable spot on the screen, about upper middle, and tended to hit the actors face if standing. The sound was excellent and the temperature was good. The trailers and ads lasted 1/2 hour, which I thought was excessive. My friend stated their popcorn was fresh. Concessions are expensive, but that goes for all movie theaters. Will be back.

It’s the best theatre around. Staff is so nice and I love the go to this specific location. I like the parking lot too. I do however miss that I don’t get the cool popcorn bowls from regal but I still like the cool promotional stuff they have some times.

I want to give kudos where they are due. I don't go to the movies very often so I don't have special memberships, apps, & promotions. However, a friend gifted me with 2 emailed tickets via Fandango for my birthday. Neither myself, the cashier, or the manager on duty at 4:20 pm could jump thru all the hoops to make them usable for 30 minutes. Finally, the manager kindly escorted my friend and I to the movie of our choice so we wouldn't miss the opening and agreed to deal with issue later. I am so grateful bc I was personally meant to see The Forge tonight. Thank you!

Went to see Twisters on 7/22/24 for the 8:45pm showing. It has been a long time since I have been to this movie theater and found myself very unimpressed. My husband and I were a little disappointed that the souvenir popcorn bucket/drink cups for the movie we were seeing advertised onlinewe we were going to splurge on wernt available. The two young employees who were helping us, whwn asked the one didnt seem to know what we were talking about and the other said they didnt have them probably only the big city locations did. Ok... whatever so we got our popcorn and drink cups. We loved the fancy soda machine to get your own soda. That was pretty neat. The popcorn was poor quality, you could tell it was hours if not maybe even a day or so old. The movie was awesome but the size of the projected movie was never never adjusted to match the size of the screen itself, that was disappointing. The auditorium didnt appear to have been tidied up between showings as there was a lot of popcorn and things under seats and on the stairs. The theater is well loved and could use some updates. Overall it wasnt a terrible experience but not the best experience I've had at that location.

The screen size was small, besides that the movie wasn’t even covering the width of the screen, felt like, home theater would’ve been better. Has to look up at the screen, even the last row wasn’t high enough.
