First time trying this place and the people are very pleasant, & humble. The wait time does take a little while but in the end it’s so yummy! Presentation is nice too. We ordered the potato bolani (amazing) and the chicken teka kabob. Plenty of food for the price. These dishes were $15-$20.

Stopped here for a quick lunch and it did not disappoint! First, the service was amazing, they were kind and welcoming. They helped us with what to order and answered our questions since we weren't familiar with the menu items. The food portions were large and appetizing when presented. The flavor though - was DELICIOUS! I cannot wait to come back and try something new. I ordered chicken skewers they had so much flavor. There was one other family there eating it was surprising to see so little people there for how good the food is. Definitely a hidden gem 😊

4.8 is an understatement. I wish I could give this 6 stars. They have such good food. Having an option like this off of watt avenue is practically a miracle. Sometimes service can be slower but it's because everything is cooked fresh. And "slower" only means to call 20 minutes ahead instead of 10 minutes. I've never waited longer than that except for one huge order in the past (it was something like 4 or 5 combo plates, and still only took 30 minutes which is super understandable.) They're quick, they're friendly to everyone, and everything they serve is in its most delicious possible form! Can't recommend this 6/5 restaurant enough!

i've tried many places from New York City my home to here in Sacramento and this place has the best food, very friendly service, they do everything really good. Even the bread is not just basic. This place is my new place I always going to when i come to Sacramento. I wish them nothing but success.

The owner of the place are nice, no question on that. The food are really good, and the proportion is amazing for the price of the food. The only reason why its 4 star not five is because of my first time entering the area I was not really appetized. As I walk in I want to smell the food being cooked in the back, with the aroma seeping in and not cleaning supplies. Also, their was not enough tissue that I got, the only tissue i got was the one that came with the knife and fork. However, I would go there again. With those flaws, there food is really good.

Amazingly authentic soulful food and people. The people running the place are kind, courteous and efficient and it shows in the diverse variety of clientele that they get.

We were so impressed that we returned in a week and were not swayed by the outside and neighborhood shops. The restaurant is neat and the food is hygienic. They have many awards to prove their hygiene levels & restroom is more proof.

So far we have tried chicken kabobs, lamb and chicken curry. All of them exceptional and the right level of spiciness and flavor. This is our new go to and we regularly dine in here!
