I had the avocado toast with an egg and an oat milk salted caramel latte. I like that they have veggie options and two non dairy milks to chose from, oat or almond milk . I recently visited Big Blue Bear, and I have mixed feelings about the experience. The place is really cute and charming, reminiscent of Knott's Berry Farm with its unique and cool decor. It's definitely a visually appealing spot.

However, the prices are quite steep. My sister was accidentally charged double the price by the cashier, but thankfully, it was corrected once we pointed it out. Just a heads-up—make sure to ask for your receipt and double-check the amount.

Being in a small town, the high prices might be expected, but it’s still something to be aware of. They do sell books, which is a nice touch and adds to the quirky charm of the place.

One downside is the long line to order, likely because there are only two people working the counter. On the plus side, the AC was on full blast, which was a relief given the heat outside.

Overall, the place is clean and adorable. Would I recommend it? If you need food quickly and don't mind the prices, it’s worth a visit. Just be prepared for a potential wait and check your bill carefully.

Stopped in to get a cherry turnover, ended up stopping in two more days in a row. They have delicious cookies too. Their coffee and tea offerings are top notch. I’m a cold brew snob from LA and this shop has cold brew, iced americano, iced coffee, amazing iced teas too. Green, black, you name it…

Delicious “bear paw” cookies that are so good I swear I am dreaming about them while I’m home now.

The food is good and the staff is nice. Not a good place to get a breakfast burrito if you’re in a hurry. Cook makes each order in a row not at the same time. Again all good but not when you want a quick breakfast burrito and hit the road. Maybe call in your order?

During our 3 day"s stay in Kernville we enjoyed the breakfast with the best cappuccino in town. All was tasty and freshly made. A very friendly and local family atmosphere as well great team spirit. Also our Kids liked this place...
