This shop has such a welcoming and professional vibe! Blake greeted me as soon as I walked in. We chatted about my idea for a few “blastovers,” and he quickly sketched up some flash designs that I loved. He even managed to fit me in between appointments and finished everything super efficiently. I’m thrilled with the tattoos and the overall experience, definitely planning to come back for more!

Curtis, the shop owner, we have known just a little bit longer than the shop has been open. He did some amazing work for both my wife and me once, and we followed him to his own shop!

While Curtis hasn't done any work on us at his new shop (yet), Blake - another artist who works there, has inked both of us twice each. Fantastic work by a young, up and coming (hell, he's already there) tattoo artist. He looks young but his work is that of an old, veteran in the industry. If you have the opportunity to get some of Blake's work, don't hesitate!

Curtis is a low key shop owner - he doesn't run around like "I own this place." Humble, one would say. However, any artist's work that leads them to owning their own Art Gallery and Tattoo Studio should speak for itself. Classic, vintage, new, realism, cartoon and even vegetative (a new category for flowers, you like that?) are just a few things in Curtis' ammo bag. I could sit here for days and tell my, nothing but good, stories about Black Umbrella and crew but we all have things to do today. Quint Hall, also known as Spiceybilly, is an exceptional tattoo artist who has left me in awe with each and every piece of artwork he has created for me. His talent knows no bounds, and his dedication to his craft is truly phenomenal.

Not only is Quint incredibly skilled, but he is also a joy to work with. His calm and friendly demeanor instantly puts you at ease, and he creates a comfortable and relaxed environment throughout the tattooing process. It is evident that he genuinely cares about his clients' satisfaction and goes above and beyond to ensure a positive experience.

You found the right place. Clean, professional, kind and respectful are just the tip of the iceberg of how great of an experience you will receive from Blake , et al , at Black Umbrella ! Walk ins are a pain indeed but sure enough Blake rose to the occasion, delt with a customer with special needs, and didn’t balk one bit. I came from WA state for a hometown tattoo and am beyond pleased with my crisp line work and beautiful shading. If your considering having work done, look no further.
