Excelente lugar para escuchar música en vivo en San Francisco, realmente una experiencia muy particular, la gente es muy amable y peculiar, todas las edades, a buen precio las bebidas. Piden Cover 20 dólares lo cual me parece justo por el show en vivo

Really great music, nice bouncers but the bar are subpar. Bartender asked us if we wanted a particular brand of vodka and I told him I didn't care. Should've just thrown out the name of a cheap brand because I remember it being around 45 bucks for 4 shots. Don't know if this place just has insanely high prices or he scammed us but quite disappointed. NEVER encountered prices this high.

Walked in waiting for Fat Tuesday music. Needed a drink. Ordered Arnold Palmer special. Yummy drink and reasonable. Tuesday is Jazz Night. Bring cash $20 minimum for cards! Great band Gamper Drums.

Before heading to a concert at the Fillmore last night, we stopped for a drink at the Boom Boom Room. The bartender, long curly hair, was extra rude. Interrupting me while I made my order. Still tipped him... We actually went back after the show thinking maybe we had just caught him at a bad moment. No, he's just a rude unpleasant person. We were set to buy several of our fellow concert goers drinks. Normally a bartender gives out shot glasses or tokens in a situation like that. He was irritated and argued about not knowing what people were drinking. Super obnoxious.

Bon Bon Vivant was wonderful and the venue is a great space. Not so crazy about the cocktails but had a good time anyway.

If I were channeling the tone of Hunter S. Thompson to describe the chaotic, soul-searing experience of a concert, here’s how it might go:

---

“We were somewhere around the stage when the music began to take hold…

The lights throbbed like a neon war drum, blaring over the delirious, riotous crowd that stretched into the ether, faces lost in the smear of flashing reds and strobing whites. The bass, a predatory heartbeat, stalking us all from the darkness. Somewhere in this haze, I was sure I’d find what I was looking for, though I couldn’t remember what it was. Maybe salvation. Maybe just a cigarette.

A maniac to my left was already spinning, arms raised to the heavens like a sunburned prophet at a last-chance revival. To my right, a woman swayed, eyes shut, lost in some psychedelic reverie, while behind her, a group of wild-eyed youths seemed to be howling at the lights. It was more than just sound now; it was a tangible thing clawing its way into your bones, a beast lurking in the amps, howling through the speakers.

Somewhere backstage, the band knew exactly what they were doing.

I could feel it in my teeth, my gut, that primal understanding that there would be no escape. This was their jungle, and they were on the hunt. Each guitar riff was a threat, each drumbeat a challenge, daring us to find an exit, though God knows we’d already burned that bridge the moment we wandered in.

But that’s the beauty of it, the madness—why we dive headfirst into the mouth of this beast every time. There’s nothing left to do but ride the wave, clutch the chaos, and let the music strip you down to your most raw, electrified core.”

Super FUN venue, 5/5! If you love live Blues, you've got to make time to get in here. Gets going around 10pm, show up early for seating. If you have guests from out of town you absolutely have to take them here! Right up there with Chicago and New Orleans for live, local entertainment!
