This traditional Korean restaurant serves $30 set menu that includes a dozen plus side dishes and two soups with options to add sharing specialty dishes such as bosam (boiled pork belly) or LA grilled galbi. Most people are building their own bibimbap with these side dishes and adding the specialties dishes. So it feels different than eating at typical Korean restaurants. Entrance is in the rear parking lot. You walk in and add your name to the waitlist board. Most of the side dishes were good and the specialty dishes were ok. Suggest to order the minimum order of two set menus for a party of 4 and add some other dishes. There was a wait of 15 minutes when we went during weekend lunch.

I went on a Tuesday night and had a very easy time finding parking. There is free parking behind the restaurant and street parking. The entrance is also from the back of the restaurant.

Service was excellent. It felt like going to your friend's house and being helped by the kindest Korean mom. They don't have buttons at your table to request assistance but the staff is always walking around, incredibly attentive, and super warm and friendly. My entire group ordered the set and the food came out immediately. It being our first time, the server went over how to tackle the spread and explained the soups.

The food was excellent! So many delicious veggie banchan and the set is basically a BYOB - build your own bibimbap. There were lots of banchan I've never had before like chopped chili pepper, shishito pepper, eggplant, and a white mushroom that looked like a shorter seafood mushroom. My favorites were the small patty sized kimchi pancakes, the acorn jelly salad (could use more acorn jelly 😬), and the entire BYOB experience... that's pretty much all the food 😆 the sea snail dish was good but I wasn't a huge fan of the texture. I eat pescatarian and it reminded me of bony cartilage. The best part is that you can get unlimited Barley rice and banchan. It was so much food that we never finished our first set. We ended up taking the leftovers home and it was enough for another meal.

Overall, I would definitely go back and absolutely recommend it. There is an a la carte menu and I would love to try some of those dishes with a larger group.

First time here and I loved it! The staff was so kind and patient and explained their course menu. They took the time to nicely go over each of the dishes and how to eat them. Delicious and healthy, country-style Korean food. You can ask for more barley rice (we didn't but we observed several tables doing so). Free parking in the parking lot on the back side of the restaurant.

This place is a must go. You get like 20 different dishes with an order of the set menu (30 bucks per person). While I wasn’t a fan of the soy soup everything else was great and if you don’t like something there are so many other dishes it’s fine. They even give you 3 different desert dishes at the end. Incredibly unique experience you need to try at least one.

Amazing value, healthful and incredibly delicious and quiet atmosphere. It was great to get healthy food out and still be exploring my palette, be interested in the flavors and surprised. A lot of food for 29.99 each and almost too much for us two people... left very full. This was also great for me because I do not eat red meat -- perfect meal for that with what only had two (I believe) meat dishes - sea snail and chicken.

The food and service here are phenomenal!! A homey and inviting restaurant that serves healthy, hearty and authentic Korean food (mostly vegetarian, with options for meat). The set menu is SO worth it - comes with barley rice and vegetables to make your own bowl; soups, kimchi pancake, pumpkin porridge, and lotssss of side dishes (kimchi, radish, acorn salad) as well as persimmon and plum tea for dessert!

My fav was the chicken ginseng soup, veggie side dishes and acorn salad. We loved every part of this course experience! The restaurant is very inviting, warm and cozy - as if I'm transported into a Korean traditional home. We waited 15 mins on a Friday night; parking lot is valet $3.

This was my first time trying food prepared this way, and it's very different from other Korean restaurants. On my initial visit, I found the staff friendly and the ambiance pleasant. The food was enjoyable, especially the combination of veggies with barley rice and sesame oil. The pancake and chicken perilla seed porridge stood out as highlights. The set menu offers a substantial amount of food. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I would recommend this place.
