I wasn't really impressed with my first time at Camp Taco. And circled the block once to figure out where to park. There's a huge outdoor space for seating but I feel like that area and the parking would be better if swapped.

I made plans to visit specifically on this day to explore the restaurant during it's advertised; "Camp'toberfest" event. Curious about the "YODLE-LE-YUM! Feast on Camp twists on some Bavarian food faves from our culinary team." I couldn't find any hint of what that would be online but was excited to see a small paper advertising the $12 big brats in a blanket. Only to find out that those weren't available until much later (up to two hours into service). A little disappointing for "an all day event."

I will give praise to my server, Marshall offered some good recommendations and took care to check with the kitchen on onion content after I explained I was allergic. After a short wait he came to tell me that two of the three sides I ordered had onions and offered a second helping of the rice, the only alternative being some taco sauce.

The camp rice was enjoyable, but after one helping I opted to save the second one to go. Marshall's suggestion; the Pollo Frito was a very nice part of the experience. The sauce had a nice zip to add to the tender and moist fried chicken, and the tortillas held everything in like a good hug. I do question the price of the meal though. $13 is a bit steep for something I could find at a taco truck at half the price. Still, it landed well on an empty stomach.

I feel like there are a lot of things that could be improved upon. As this event seemed to be a big deal, I just felt like it was scheduled, but not actually worked on until *maybe* that morning. The hats were cute, and the polka was bouncy. But I just couldn't help but feel like it was less fest, and more.... gimmicky. Here's hoping a second visit will merit an update/edit from me in the future.

First time visit , really enjoyed it from the very beginning. The host greeted me right off the bat I was seated at the Bar and the bartender ( Nicolas ) very friendly and knowledgeable and had a great recommendation. I had the taco salad bowl, which was absolutely delicious Would highly recommend, also the music in the background.was The late 80s postmodern hits was a perfect choice of atmosphere tunes. Overall, my experience today was a 10 out of 10 will visit again and again thank you for the wonderful experience. Dj Hollywood

Highly recommend. Would love to eat here again.
As you approach this building, it doesn't appear to be in the best of neighborhoods. And it's a bit of a hole in the wall. Upon walking inside, it was very crowded with lots of children carrying on. We almost got up and went somewhere else. But we were hungry and there wasn't much else close by.
I am so glad we stayed. The staff was very friendly. And the food. The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Ask for extra napkins because everything is greasy. But it is absolutely delicious. Our meal for two people with $35.
We had the Taco Americana and the Quesabirria. Every bite of meat was perfect. No hard chunks, no gristle. Perfect.

The bartender was super nice and wasn't over bearing on me to order and stuff. I was able to sample a few beers and ending up getting a beer even though I hardly drink and it was pretty good. The queso birria were good, I would say I feel I should get 3 tacos for the price but that would be my only gripe. The beans were ridiculously good, that was a huge surprise. Overall a good time.

This place had an amazing atmosphere and really cool karaoke bar and location. Unfortunately for me most of their recipes surround cilantro. Im one of those cilantro taste like soap people.
Without that taste edge the tacos fall flat some to me. But not a bad take home or camp snack though!

Visited Camp Taco on a Sat afternoon. We were seated immediately and ordered a tequila shot flight with a lime popsicle. It was really good. For food, we tried the Al Pastor tacos, they we ok. I would go back and try again... Service was quick and amazing

I liked the prompt service and how easy-going the place was. Good beer selection. I had fish tacos and these were ok. I wish those were not so spicy, so I can better taste the food not just the spice.
