Decent atmosphere. Bar tenders were helpful and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. The only shortcoming I noticed for service was where you get the water in front of the bar had several glasses with lip stains on them, which heavily implied they weren't cleaned or not cleaned well enough.

I can't say how many times I've been to Carrigan's, but it's more than 20. I keep going back because they haven't failed to serve up excellent food and drinks. This time we got the salmon salad - so very good - and the smoked pork nachos which were every bit as yummy. Large portions too. The cocktails are really good too. Carrigan's is a long-time and current favorite spot in the city.

We had a nice time and a nice dinner. It was a group of seven of us. The food was good and the service was wonderful. Our bartender, Chris made sure that we all had just what we needed to enjoy the evening. He made some recommendations for local beers and even made an espresso for one in our party.

There was a private event upstairs the night we were there, so I’m not sure if it was blocking the elevator, or if they just don’t have an elevator that goes to the roof, but we had a mobility challenged person, so none of us went up to the roof top.

Inside outside and rooftop options really helps at this place apart and if you’re trying to beat that Alabama heat, the AC was ice cold on the inside.

Carrigans is secretly the spot with the best burgers in Birmingham! OMG they are so delicious I mean it’s absolutely amazing and totally worth the price. And the fries, whew, don’t get me started these are my bread and butter. They are sooo good with the perfect thickness and chew. Will be back again and again and again!

Carrigan’s is awesome! They have plenty of outdoor and rooftop seating options as well as inside. You order right from your table by scanning a QR code with your phone. Our drinks were brought to our table faster than we could have went to get them. The service was great and the employees were all super friendly. The cocktails were great and appetizers we ordered were awesome as well. Free parking in large surface lot located nearby. FYI This location is 21+

A mid place to drink with mid brews and mid staff. Not from the area so decided to stick to local brews. They ranged from decent to weirdly tasting. With all the signage about enclosed tabs, how much they pour into drinks and the reasons why they will add gratuity to your tab it's just a very weird vibe. I guess they cater to college students? Then the service isn't that great either. I walked in and was ignored for a while. Drink was empty for long periods of time, and they had just opened so they weren't that busy. Again, not the biggest deal, but when you have multiple signs of when you add 25-30 percent gratuity to a tab......maybe have better service instead of standing around chit chatting. Whats the point of sitting at the bar when you somehow have less service than other seats? I cant blame people for just leaving with their tab open when your service is slow as molasses. I wouldn't come back.

I recently took a client to Carrigan's Public House after hours, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was excellent, with the burgers standing out as particularly delicious. They were cooked to perfection, juicy, and flavorful. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for an informal business meeting or just a fun evening out. The trivia night added an extra layer of enjoyment, making the visit both engaging and entertaining. I highly recommend Carrigan's Public House for its great food, especially the burgers, and its vibrant atmosphere.
