This is a very spirited and active post with lots going on daily, weekly and monthly.
The only negative variable is a post "officer" who unfortunately bartends about once a month and shouldn't, for several reasons.
Most of the members both regular and visitors know exactly who he is, and frankly, bewildered. Let's hope this unfortunate situation improves soon.
In the meantime bartenders Debbie, Chrissy, Frank, Diana, Danielle and Roger are fantastic!
Rock on guys and special shout out to Commander Wendy for running the show!

Had our 50th HS reunion there. The building and staff were above excellent at this venue. I highly recommend this for consideration if having an event.

I went to there for a steak dinner tonight and it was outstanding. I dinned outside overlooking the Lindo Lake Park. What a nice evening I had.

I had the misfortune of speaking with Glenn regarding a project we wanted to do at the event center. Very rude guy and thinks he knows everything better than anyone else. As a veterans facility - I imagined they would have a better handle on respect. Will not be using them, but there are plenty of VFW's in San Diego!

Friday night steak night is the best steak around. Saturday it's burgers and a man makes homemade baked beans and potato salad wowzer they're delicious. The music is great and I always end up in great conversations. The park just unveiled the renovation of Lindo Lake and it turned out beautiful so check it out.

Great food sold (open to the public) on weekends. Heard about it on Next Door. REAL grilled to order Cheeseburgers or hamburger with an array of EVERYTHING or nothing. Best sides potato salad and beans ever!

Always friendly people there. I was there this time to rent a room for a family event. Prices are reasonable and with the different room sizes we can select the appropriate sized area. We've had events there before and the parking is convenient, the bar is there for those who may want a drink or you can arrange a bar set up just for your event.
