I always have fun attending this Ren Fair. This year (2024) was REALLY, REALLY crowded, im glad to see that so many people love to attend and enjoy the merriment. I wish there were more cider/beer stalls, I only saw one, and the lines were too long to wait. Overall it was fun.

The Central Coast Renaissance Festival , fun for the entire family.

The attention to detail in the costumes is impressive, with every participant fully committed to their character and creating an immersive atmosphere.

The themed vendors offer a wide range of clothing, jewelry, swords, knives, and other collectibles, providing ample opportunities to find unique treasures.

The shows and attractions are highly entertaining, with the armored battles standing out as a thrilling and must-see spectacle.

Plenty of parking and a great selection of food and drinks, this festival truly has all the ingredients for a memorable and enjoyable experience.

The set up was so detailed. The costumes and atmosphere was delightful! I hadn’t been to a ren faire since I was young and it has changed, but also very familiar. So much effort on behalf of the vendors and creation of the ren world. Had fun with the archery and the falcon show was so fun. And the knights! Wow! Such a show! Funtime all around. Thank you!

This was a very interesting event! The garments and clothing were amazing by all who participated! Especially enjoyed the pirate games and how most everyone stayed in character!!

However, as with all large events there were some negatives that could have been avoided with some pre-planning and organization. Entrance to the event was incredibly mismanaged. There was no person to take the money for parking until almost 15 minutes before the gate was supposed to open. The gentleman directing parking was quite curt and did not provide clear guidance on where to park. Entrance to the event was delayed due to the lack of authorization from the fire marshal. All of these items put a negative light on the event.

The food, bird-show, multiple talented acts displayed a variety of performances for all to enjoy!! This is a must go-to event if you have never been.

Loved this event! Parking wasn't hard to find. 10$ cash. Was a wonderful time, food lines were too long and not really maintained. But - when is it ever lol

I really wanted to enjoy this renaissance faire. As noted by other reviewers. Parking is a total nightmare. Cash only. Took an hour. Then another 45 minutes standing in line to get in, although we had already bought tickets. Not enough food vendors, and the food that we got was disappointing and expensive. We enjoyed some of the performances, notably Daring Daniel as well as the battles. I have now been sitting in my car for an hour stuck in traffic to leave and I’ve only moved 20 feet from my parking spot. I will definitely not be coming back.

Festival itself is 3.5 stars. The knight battle was fun, some of the other shows were pretty weirdly bad. Poorly planned when it comes to admission and food/drink. We stood in line for 45 minutes in the hot sun just to get in despite everyone already having prepaid tickets. Have two entry points at least for the first 3 hours of the day: very simple oversight. The food/drink area was a mess with dozens of lines snaking everywhere. There was nothing available without a minimum 30 minute wait. Do you want to sell food and drinks? Figure out how to shorten the lines and/or have x2 the vendors to make more money. Pretty dumb.

We had a great time at the fair. I loved the birds of prey presentation as well as the Pirate treasure hunt for the kids. The atmosphere was very joyful and the guilds were super interesting. We will be back for sure!
