Chi Chi is such a fun spot in Koreatown! The wait can be long on weekends, but it’s totally worth it. The interactive tablets make the experience fun - you can chat with other tables, play drinking games, and even join all-restaurant competitions (where I ended up winning a prize!). Their drinks are good, though on the pricier side, but the food is amazing. Definitely try the tteokbokki and bulgogi sliders. Great vibe, great energy, and a super unique experience.

My friend and I visited this place during the day to try the menu at YoungDabang(a.k.a 청년다방). The Brisket Tteokbokki and Butter Garlic Fries were delicious. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was tidy and clean. The green grape and grapefruit ade also perfect for dessert.

The atmosphere on a weekend night is positively vibrant and bustling. The reason? Well, it's all thanks to the special feature at every table – the personal ordering devices. These nifty gadgets aren't just for placing your food orders; they're a gateway to a world of fun and games.

Each table has its own ordering device, which not only allows you to select your dishes but also provides a variety of interactive games. You can enjoy mini-games by yourself or challenge other tables. There are even spontaneous group challenges initiated by the restaurant. Plus, there's a chat room where you can strike up conversations with diners at other tables.

Now, onto the food. Chi Chi LA offers a tasty menu, though portions are on the smaller side. The flavors are delightful, and I highly recommend trying their flavored Soju cocktails. They come with eye-catching glowing lights and adorable duck decorations that add a cute touch to your dining experience.

The only drawback is that engaging in conversation can be a bit challenging due to the continuous sounds of excitement from people playing games all around you. But if you're here for a fun and interactive dining adventure, this might not bother you too much.

I would write a more positive review because I do think that the atmosphere and food is good to bring with people BUT the customer service falls below expectations.

All the previous reviews on this restaurant/Youngdabang LA regarding the poor customer service and Owner/Server are TRUE.

I came to only order takeout but the person at front (who I assume is the owner) made me wait 20 minutes before taking my order. Around the same time, another customer entered to also for a takeout order but he INSTANTLY came to help her. We were both sat at different tables that were by the kitchen and during the time it took for the food to prepare, the owner came by to ask her if she needed anything and gave her water but gave me NOTHING and didnt even ask if I needed anything while waiting.

I usually tip for wherever I go when I make to-go orders but there was no customer service or hospitality that showed that this server deserved it so I didn't leave any but then as I checked my credit card statement, I saw that there was a 17% amount added to the overall bill. At this point, I knew that I would be directed to contact the merchant if I raised this issue to my credit card provider and he would have just refused to adjust the bill so I will just take it as the first time and LAST time for this place.

The food was okay but with this service, there are MANY other restaurants in Koreatown that offer BETTER service with the same options as this place at a better value.

Get better value, food, and service from any restaurant just NOT here.

Terrible customer service. Walked in and didn’t get greeted. Just a guy who looked miserable immediately asking for our ID’s. Went on a monday night with a group of 9 so we had 3 tables and 3 tablets. It wasn’t super busy but we still barely had any service, and when we did get service, it was rude and unwelcoming. Every time we tried to order on the tablet it would load for 2 minutes and then it would say it failed. They had to restart every tablet about 3 times and it would be fine. 3 minutes later and they randomly shut off. They were also out of every cocktail they had. Do not recommend at all. Food was mediocre. Staff was terrible.

Favorite bar in LA by far. Great vibes, great people, great food, and the tablets on the tables is a really novel concept that allows you to interact with people at other tables as well as your own. Especially if it’s a popping night, you’ll be engaged the entire time. Come here a lot and plan to continue.
