LARGE CLUBHOUSE w/ PLENTY OF EVENT SPACE! I’ve come several times to this clubhouse for get-togethers, parties and send-offs. Colonial’s clubhouse has a huge dining room, dance floor, and kitchen space. I recently went for a friend’s Going-Away party and there was lots of room in the kitchen for food. The party was potluck-style so we grubbed!

The dining room has plenty of large circular tables that could fit at least eight people per table. Chairs were standard plastic, but not totally uncomfortable. Unfortunately, guests can’t access the lobby area anymore. However, there’s an outdoor patio if you need a breather.

There’s restrooms in the back of the building, so you have to go outside to access them. You have to go out the clubhouse’s back doors and make a right towards the pool, you’ll see a door to your right and go down a hallway which will lead you to roomy restrooms. A wheelchair accessible stall is available last time I checked.

The clubhouse is very well-kept and allows you to stay till early evening. So don’t expect to be there till midnight. We started cleaning up around 6:00pm so we left after 7-ish?

We adore our home and the location. The community is friendly, we love our neighbors, there are many social activities, and every store we could want is close by.

Love my neighbors. Love living in SoCal. We came to CCC over 2 years ago mostly because we traveled for 7 years visiting campgrounds throughout the USA and this community had that " feel" to us. It had 18 holes of executive golf, pool, etc. Since we've been here the golf course has degraded to hard dirt, grass only during the fall winter seasons when it rains. A groundskeeping crew that obviously is a landscaping crew at best. No interest in upkeep on tee boxes, greens, or working with residents who organize community Golf, to foster comradery. It's been devision amoung residents that are the managing tools. There is a ballroom for events, but no leading any efforts to hold them. Switching managers every year or so is supposed to give new hope to the indifference previous manager's have displayed. You certainly can feel the aloof attitudes on the front office. It feels like the group running this place really don't like dealing with residents and their concerns. Weed control should be enforced including weed control on the golf course. Absolutely chock full of different weeds. The winds blow them onto residents, then management tries to blame residents for lack of weed control.

It was appreciated the compassion shown during covid. However I believe improvement is needed in the water system full costs to Colonial. Water turn off is 2 sometimes 3x a month. Residents do not benefit all of the improvements to the property owners do (property value). Security in the community remains questionable. Fixed income of seniors do not grow yet each months space rent does increase. Could the increase become every other year? That is my feed back. Thanks for the opportunity.

Manager and Staffs are doing a great job! Always having fun activities and good ideas in Celebrating all the Holidays
Looking forward to a good NYE Celebration all in all it's a great place to live, just wish they will let us walk our dogs in the premises.

Could be a better and nicer place to live for seniors but…yearly rent increases are ridiculously high and you know most seniors are on fixed incomes, that yearly COLA is way below in comparison to the space rent increases! Not sure if it’s their way of forcing the elderly out?
Cars (visitors?) in and out of this place speed and some cars have super noisy mufflers and music blasting day and night, driving over the useless speed bumps makes matter worst because nobody slows down so maybe they should just remove them. Property stolen in broad daylight?! Constant water shutoffs, counted about once a month, maybe twice?
They are however trying to improve by removing the dilapidated homes with new ones and reminding all to maintain their place. They are trying to fix the dry golf course hopefully they can. I have some hope with this place with another new GM…
