Being from Texas, I have had some really good BBQ! However, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of all the food. The ribs, brisket, sausage, fries, beans, macaroni and cheese, chips and salsa were delicious! Even the bbq sauce and onion slaw…scrumptious! Everything was flavorful and absolutely perfect. Zero complaints! Highly recommend. My family and I will definitely be back!

Ordered take out for our family. It was all AMAZING. Again. Packaging was great. Food was delicious! Sausage, brisket, ribs, macaroni and cheese, slaw, beans and fries. Highly recommend this place.

I was looking forward to this place based on reviews. First, when you walk in, you have no idea what the set up is, where to sit, do you order first? We chose full service and sat by the bar. We were there at 5:30 today, a Friday. The waitress/bartender finally came by after passing us several times, and asked for our drink order. I ordered water, and when it came it had a yellow tint. When I mentioned it she acted perturbed stating that it came from the bar - I had to ask for clear water, and even then she acted gruff. The ribs pictured on the menu looked delicious! So, I ordered the ribs with beans and was willing to pay the extra $4.00 charge for fries, and ordered beans for the other side. The meal came, no fries - we were told they'd be out soon. They weren't. Then, after looking at the serving size I said "no thank you", because it was ridiculously a small serving. The ribs were dry and the meat was hard in some places. The waitress asked us once how we were - but didn't bother to wait for the answer. The person that I was with had an empty drink - we had to flag her down to get them something to drink. I understand that stellar service isn't always guaranteed, but she just didn't care and the food wasn't worth the price, so this was our first and last time that we will be eating at Count Porkula BBQ.

We had brisket and ribs. Both were excellent. The side dishes were also very good, particularly the collard greens and the corn pudding. Food was delivered hot and quickly.

For me - the MEAT is what matters in the BBQ game. If the meat is bland, or dry - giving me more, or hiding it in sweet sauce isn't going to make the quality better. Count Porkula delivered on the meat! Both the brisket and pulled pork were on point. Killer bark, a nice smokey flavor, with excellent texture. ? We're leaving full, but I'm gonna have to try some sausage next time.

Absolutely loved all the food! Read some negative reviews before we went, so I had mid to low expectations. But was I surprised! It was all fantastic!!! Everything was cooked to perfection! I got the chicken baked potato and it was huge and delicious ?. I also got a side of corn pudding (to die for!!!) and baked beans (sooo good!). Everyone else also loved their food. They got the brisket burger, ribs, French fries, and a sandwich with pulled pork and sausage. Everything was fantastic! The BBQ sauce was also yummy. But wait, there's more - we also ordered a 9-piece of the Tiger wings (extra crispy) WOW! Smokey flavor on the chicken, covered in a delicious sauce - yet still crispy. ? Wonderful experience ?

Favorite BBQ place in central Arkansas! Well worth the short drive to Maumelle! We had the Trio Sampler and the chicken plate with a side of 1/4 pound of pulled pork. Bloody Mary and Kiss the Count drinks were stellar. The corn pudding, collard green, and fries were best sides! Service was great and super fast too!

I grabbed dinner to go from here around 4:45 on 9/14. This place was highly recommended by my local coworkers, so I had to try it before leaving town. And I am glad I did! I got the trio platter with pulled pork, ribs, and sausage for my meats. The pulled pork was juicy and smoky, the ribs were perfectly seasoned and fell off the bone, and the sausage was full of flavor. The bbq sauce was delicious and complemented the meat well. The sides I chose were the greens, the dill pickle pasta salad, and the corn pudding. The greens were tender and had a nice hit of vinegar, the pasta had nice bits of pickles and cheese with bursts of dill throughout, but the corn pudding was like soggy clumps of bread with corn mixed in, which was not my favorite. Overall I enjoyed the meal, and the corn will not affect my rating. I’ll just get a different side next time!
