I visited the store to buy an off-road helmet for my upcoming trip to Glamis. The staff provided excellent customer service and helped me choose a helmet that perfectly suited my needs. They were all courteous and friendly. The store was clean and well-organized, which made my shopping experience pleasant. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a quality helmet.

Came in as a first time buyer/rider and the employees were understanding, answered any basic questions I had and showed me where each peice of equipment was sold around the store. I came in with a budget of 1000$ for what I believe are the essentials for riding and ended up spending a little under 800$ after taxes and with their membership. I bought a helmet 252$, gloves 90$, jacket 135$ and boots 245$(cost without membership discount). They also recommended their membership that applied a 10% off on these items which for 40$ actually saved me money. I'll definitely be coming back after the training course at the safety
center as apparently I found out from one of the employees that they give you a coupon to spend at this store that I'll use for some pants.

Amazing experience, great customer service just like I was expecting. So far before this I only went to the cycle gear in Chico and really liked the feeling they have and the one in Sacramento was no different. Same feeling, felt like everyone actually enjoyed working there instead of having to work there like other company employees. And of course the amazing service.

I really want to rate this thing higher but you know I bought a set of Metzeler 888 Tires for my Harley and I put about 700 Mi on it when I got a screw in the back tire, and I will not or ride with the screw in the tire or a plug for that matter. I bought the tires on their website and they shipped the tires to my store of choice, which is off of interstate 80 and Madison. They asked if i want a warranty on the tires, and i said absolutely like i always have. Get this they said they dont have me in their computer as buying the warranty or even the installation of the tires, only the purchase of the tires and shipping to their store. I wasn't very happy to say the least and I should have went somewhere else but I bought another set of tires again from their website, had them shipped to their store and had them mount balance. Deja vu so this time I talked to guy there that was ringing me up and I said I want some paperwork on the tires or something that shows that I have a warranty. He was rude and said we don't have anything in writing to say that you have the warranty it's on your receipt which only showed the cost so don't lose it, oh and it's online. I said to him well it wasn't online last time I bought the tires. I also told him since I had the tires shipped to his store the online price was $7 off the front tire and $10 off the back tire, I can't do that he said the technician already wrote down the price and this is what you have to pay.... I said no go get your manager, he looked at me and sighed. I've always shopped there, got my tires there got my jackets there got my gloves are helmets everything from Cycle Gear. If you ever look at my reviews I never leave bad reviews but this time I am and I will probably never go back there and purchase from them and that is a shame because I really loved that place. Here is a picture of my Metzler tire and my new Dunlope tire side by side look at the difference in tread. Lasley you're probably wondering why I bought new tires in the front I don't ever do that with my motorcycle I replace one I replace both.
