Damn, fantastic for a small town cafe. This is a local fav and the service was great. Get ready for small talk but it's super friendly, not that uncomfortable chit chat. It's homemade gormet food, so if you're expecting black tie service, go back to L. A. This is my new go-to when I return. For sure, order crispy hash browns. Don't be shy, eat your kids' chicken fingers, yum, and coffee was fantastic, black. Be sure to have dam jokes, it just makes it more fun.

Great diner! Our server was Tonie - she was friendly and accommodating. Our food came less than 10 minutes after we ordered. It was hot and delicious. I had a large biscuits and gravy and my husband had a regular french toast. Again, both were very tasty. We will definitely be coming back when we're in the area and I recommend you do as well! 🙂

OMG!! If you ever visit Lake Isabella, stop at DAM KORNER. They have amazing coffee, biscuits and gravy and the cinnamon roll...your big back ain't ready!!! The cinnamon rolls are perfection!!! They are not overly sweet and are served with butter on top. YUM!! 😋😋😋

I came for dinner and had the fish and chips. Those were just ok. My friends had the burger that she really loved and they had the ribeye that he loved. Everyone loved the French fried.

This restaurant has some good and some bad.

The good, the food is high quality; however, the food is cooked in cheap cooking oil.

The bad, the cleanliness of this place could use some work. I've had tables with syrup still on it, pieces of food still on it, and every single time when the staff wipes the table, they push the bits off onto the seats and floor. THEN THEY DON'T WIPE THE SEATS OR CLEAN THE FLOOR. I brought this to the attention of one of the waitresses, and all I received was an attitude when she said "I'll try to do a better job," then walked off. In my opinion, the waitresses and busser are lazy. How long does it take to wipe down a table and seats with different cloths? 10 seconds?

Overall, not bad. I don't appreciate the attitude though. Just wipe the tables and seats down better.

I might've ordered the wrong thing. I almost never get biscuits and gravy but based on reviews I tried it. Thought it was going to be a really good homemade gravy with lots of sausage in it. Almost no meat in it. Heavy and gross with almost no seasoning. Had to put a lot of salt and pepper. Could feel my arteries hardening. But the server was friendly and the place is easy to find to meet someone else in the town if you are not familiar with the town.

I love the cabin like feel. I had some IPAs. I came from Australia and this felt like a traditional pub like in Australia in a rural town. Loved the fish and chips.
