Went on a quiet rainy day. Cute front desk, lovely atmosphere, and a nice experience overall. The seating seemed reminiscent of old repertory theaters. Popcorn is stellar as ever. Make sure to grab a good seat on packed nights having in mind they are positioned relatively on the same level. Great surround sound and immersion. A choice place for your cinematic endeavors.

Very cute, old school theatre. Walking in felt like a scene from an old movie, with a large walkway down to an actual stage and screen. Only two auditoriums that I saw, but that doesn't seem to be much of an issue.
Popcorn had a unique taste, probably more natural and healthier than I'm used to over at Brenden... (they use Flavacol for that super salty taste at Brenden) so I wasn't much a fan but still nearly finished my medium bag by myself.
Large coke but the flavour was distinctly different than I'm used to.
They had a unique candy selection and we tried these Italian digestive candies. Peculiar barely does it justice.
Overall, great experience.
Not to mention the movie we saw... Everything Everywhere All At Once.
Phenomenal and bizarre and amazing movie. My fiance and I added it to Our List of movies.

I could not use my Downtown Davis e-gift card because the terminal had no place to enter the expiration date, CW and Zip Code. I won't be returning for a month. Hopefully by then the e-gift card issue will be resolved. On top of that, there was little to no air conditioning in the back screen showing Oppenheimer. Instead I suggest people go to the Regal, State Theater in Woodland, or Tower Theater in Sacramento. As of 7/23 the Regal is also showing Barbie and Oppenheimer.

Definitely the best movie theatre in town for seeing interesting films. The seats are comfortable and the staff are pleasant. If the concession was less expensive I'd be more likely to buy something. I wonder if their pricing model is really optimal for them, but they're still in business so what do I know? They show a lot of movies that would be great for a group to view and then discuss. Highly recommend!

At first glance, the theater is old and charming. The seats were very uncomfortable and hard would awkwardly move back. There was not enough leg room between the seats. The popcorn and drinks were just as expensive as a modern theater with upgrades. The staff was nice and professional. But sadly the patrons, an older crowd were not as nice...it was easy to find free parking spaces. The sound system and actual screen quality was great.

Well kept up local movie theater. Not all the bells and whistles of the big chains, but comfortable and good projection and sound. Freshly popped popcorn or a decent gelato at the snack bar.
