Excellent food, great service. We came in about 35 minutes before closing and the guy said "No problem! Sit down! Take your time!'
It was our first visit so he recommended the pork soup dumplings, the beef roll, and the Shanghai fried noodles to be shared between the two of us. Everything was outstanding, and the beef roll really shined especially to me. The beef was tender and flavorful and went so well with all of the fresh veggies.
Will definitely come here next time I'm nearby!

Food was generally good. A lot of strong and savory flavors.

Enjoyed the beef roll the most! The meat inside was tender and juicy, while the wrapping was crispy and flaky.

Dumpling Yo is a neighborhood restaurant that has integrated its unique style of Chinese cusine into the hearts and minds of many in the south Sacramento Greenhaven area. Dumpling Yo specializes in the Shanghai style of Bao dumplings. Folks, the owner makes them daily. Gyoza, pork soup and shrimp bun, and more are just some of their offerings.

I like dumplings. Dumpling Yo! has good dumplings and more, and it also has good customer service.

My favorite dishes at Dumpling Yo! are the XLB and beef rolls. Both are excellent, and the beef rolls are better than most of the restaurants in Sacramento and even the Bay Area.

The young gentleman who works at the front dining area also goes above and beyond to ensure you’re satisfied with the food and service.

The parking lot is safe, but parking near the restaurant can be a little too crowded sometimes. However, this is a huge lot with hundreds of parking spaces available within a short walk.

my boyfriend and I have tried this spot once before, it is absolutely fire. The soup dumplings are flavorful and cooked to perfection. I tried the wonton soup this time and i loved it!

I recently visited Dumpling Yo!, and I was thoroughly impressed with their food and service. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, and their menu offers a fantastic variety of Chinese specialties. The dumplings are fresh, flavorful, and perfectly crafted. I also tried one of their rice bowls, and the balance of flavors was exceptional.

The staff was attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even better. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you receive. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Chinese food. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

挺不错的一家店，味道真的没得说。先说优点，我们点的鲜肉虾仁的小笼包和生煎包都非常好吃，牛肉面里的牛腱子十分软烂入味，牛肉卷饼的饼皮非常酥脆很好吃。至于缺点就是服务有点差了，我们周六中午来的，店里很多人，但是只有两个服务员，而且工作效率比较低。即使有了空桌子，他们也并不会让我们就坐。以至于我们只能尴尬的站在门口很小的一块地方等了20分钟左右才能入座。

This is a pretty good restaurant and the taste is really beyond reproach. Starting with the positives, the pork and shrimp soup dumplings and pan-fried dumplings we ordered were very tasty. The beef brisket in the beef noodles was extremely tender and flavorful, and the pastry of the beef roll was very crispy and delicious. As for the downside, the service was a bit lacking. We went there on a Saturday noon when the place was packed, but there were only two servers who were not very efficient. Even when there were free tables, they wouldn't seat us. As a result, we had to awkwardly stand at a small spot by the door and wait for about 20 minutes to be seated.
