Got the French dip And fresh mushrooms the French dip is so good juicy in the right way. And the mushrooms are greasy nice and hot. The service was top notch Judy was amazing and attentive. I will most definitely be going back!

I was very disappointed with everything. I chose to try this place out for my birthday after reading the reviews. When my family and I, a party of 5, got there there was any kind of greeting. When we got to our table we were asked what we wanted to drink and had to ask what drinks they had because it wasn’t on their menu and I had to ask specifically what they had besides bar drinks because I had kids out me. Then when the waitress came and introduced herself she never mentioned the special offered for that night. When we ordered there wasn’t any mention of equipment being down that would delay receiving the food. We had 2 kids meals, a sandwich, and the prime rib dinner. When I received the salad that came with my dinner there was a hair in it, and they apologized and got me a new one. However, after an hour and a half of waiting we were finally told that they only had 1 fryer working so the kitchen was backed up. When the food finally arrived my prime rib wasn’t medium like I ordered, it was medium well and room temperature. The fries that my family received weren’t even hot. I let them know that I had ordered medium for the prime rib and it wasn’t medium or hot. They apologized and said they would take money off, but they only took a small amount off which was basically the 2 kids meals. They did give us a coupon for 1/2 off appetizer and $2 off our next visit. I can guarantee there won’t be a next visit especially with how expensive it was even after taking some money off. Not a place I would recommend.

The hubs had been here several times, but I had not been yet. It has been on my list a while and his kids live here and have never been. From the outside tou wouldn't think much but on the inside, you can feel the history.

The food was fantastic, large portions and VERY reasonably priced. Kudos to the owners who have been able to provide quality and keep reasonable prices during such a tough time and the surge in inflation.

We got a full order of onion rings and they were monsters. I've not had batter that good and they were fried perfectly and weren't dripping in oil. I got the ABIY medium rare burger and added a slice of provel cheese.it was cooked perfectly and was a. Abundance of flavor. Other items ordered, per recommendation from Lala, was the Beer Battered Chicken sandwich, Grilled Chicken sandwich and Prime Rib sandwich. SO Good!

Lala was fantastic! She made sure we had everything we needed, made great food recommendations and was super sweet.

If I lived here, it would be my go-to for a burger. And I would definitely go to Ecco over fast food any day!

I have been here 3 times now in the past 30 days. This is one great place to eat! The Ecco Burger is divine!!! There are daily specials, which will not disappoint at all. So far we have tried, a shrimp poboy which was delicious; the tenderloin, you better have an appetite for this one; and the black and blue burger, so delicious! The service is awesome, the staff is amazing! Judy is the most amazing bartender ever! But all the staff is very welcoming and friendly. There is a lot of history in the restaurant/bar decor and it is a very clean establishment. One thing to add, my BF is allergic to onions, the chef came out to make sure he was making the order correctly and he was great!! I am sorry I did not get his name but the extra care was very appreciated.

Visiting Jefferson City and this restaurant was recommended to us by a local business owner, so we went in for lunch.

I don't give a ton of 5 star reviews, but the way the staff handled the situation they were in impressed me. They immediately told us before ordering that they were understaffed in the kitchen, and that food was taking a little bit longer to get out. Since we were not in a rush, this wasn't a big deal. The food didn't take terribly long and was very, very good we ordered the prime rib sandwich and the reuben. They put a twist on the reuben that gives is a slightly unique flavor, and it was very surprising in a good way.

They again apologized for the sandwiches taking a little bit long when they delivered the food and made sure to check with us after to make sure everything was good and reiterate that they don't normally take that long to get food out.

To summarize, the atmosphere is awesome. The place has a fantastic history. The food was great, and the service was stellar.

The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. Unfortunately, the food didn’t hit the mark for me. I ordered the fish tacos, but the fish was rubbery, and the coleslaw was overly watery, which ruined the otherwise perfectly cooked tortillas. I also tried the chicken tenders—they were a bit dry and lacked flavor, though still edible. While I wouldn’t dine here again, it seems like a solid spot for an after-work drink!

Went to the oldest restaurant and lounge in Jeff City. We came for the spicy boiled shrimp but they were sold out. We decided on the pork tenderloin breaded in Ritz cracker crumbs but alas that was sold out as well. Cold beer good food great vibe. I would return to try the dishes we missed.
