This is a beautiful, restored theater with a good variety of events for all ages. It is staffed by very friendly volunteers that care about preserving it for the entire community. The wonderful lady at the box office is just the sweetest person, she always remembers us and is so kind.

My wife and I enjoy watching the old movies on the big screen, during their film series. We have also attended several musical performances and it is always an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend you check out this historic treasure!

Beautiful decor and architecture! Friendly and fast staff. The theater is amazing! They sell popcorn and drinks (alcohol and non). The bathrooms are clean and spacious. Theater seats are comfortable.

Went to watch a movie put on by NIU with a friend. The place is very awesome on the inside as well as outside. Took some pictures of the statues here as well.

I have been to 2 concerts at the Egyptian. The seats are good. Stage is easy to see. The sound is great, not too loud. My only criticism is there should be screens, so that the band can use media. Tickets are reasonable. My alcoholic drink was 8.00. They take cash or card.

Shout out to The Beth Fowler School of Dance “Cinderella”

I had the pleasure to experience this out of this world 🌎 experience of “Cinderella” with the family. I am so thankful to be alive and enjoying my first ballet 👯 recital show expressing their beautiful artistic interpretation of “Cinderella”. I was in awe of the performance of the spectacular performance 🎭 by the ballet dancer 💃 Fiona Cieslinski.

I was not expecting this type of ballet 🩰 recital at all and it definitely 💯 percent blew my expectations away. I enjoyed the atmosphere especially when you look up to the ceiling there were glowing stars ✨ that sparkled. ✨

I definitely do recommend coming to this theater 🎭 if you ever want to experience a different blast from the past Egyptian themed building featuring a 🆒 show. The bathrooms 🚽 were clean and despite the packed atmosphere we were able to get to our seats no problem.

The staggering seating definitely does needs some work because I wasn’t able to enjoy the show without tilting my head in some way. I’m sorry for the people behind me.

However I wasn’t going to let that ruin my wonderful experience of the beautiful performance of my niece 🩰 👸👑💪

Building is over 90 years old and is absolutely stunning. Seating is very well placed and seats are spacious. Wonderful staff and good array of concessions. Not Ticketmaster owned so not crazy on service fees. Highly recommend.

The Egyptian Theater is fabulously restored and updated venue. I usually go three times a year to see my niece dance with Beth Fowler School of Dance. The theater has spacious bathrooms and a concession stand. Check it out!
