zero stars went to do jury duty orientations since i missed my court date but didn’t have to do actual jury duty bc of my disability,

was waiting for my dad and this guy asks me if i want weed when im underage and creepily asks for my number outside and nobody cared enough to do anything aren’t there police officers around there ? isn’t drug dealing illegal? this place is just horrible and is in the worst part of town im surprised there’s even police at all they should be scared to go there that place is so scary and ghetto

Obviously the place least desirable for any citizen to go ti any day of the week. Waiting lines are up to an hour just to enter the building, court rooms packed full of people. Please people do not take your freaking fanily or friends inside the court if they have no business being there, you are an A hole who just take up space for other people who actually have business at court.. besides that public defenders overloaded with cases. Inefficient system within the court. So yes very stressful experience at times.

My wife and I married here 8/13/2020. In addition to expedited services, the employees were very helpful and friendly. Our wedding was live on FB and filmed by the employee standing in as “witness”. The ceremony was full of happiness and joy, which included highlights of genuine and heartfelt emotions, heard in laughter by employees.

Thank you, from my wife and I , to those two ladies. You made our day even more special. 🥰💍♾💍🥰

I love the new screens on the 1st floor which tells the name and locations of the persons dept they need to report to. Before if you didn't know you had to wait in line to be advised by a sheriff staff. Place needs an upgrade. Still feels really old and needs at least ol1 more elevator. Gets really crowded and long lines in the mornings especially Mondays thru Wednesdays

Going here traumatized me even further after I escaped my abuser. I received a restraining order yet the judge was going to order the man that performed every act of abuse on me and many forms on my children, who had weapons he used to threaten to kill us, into my home alone with us every week. Even knowing this and with proof. The judge was annoyed by me and wrote in my documents that I was being "emotional" when he had me explain in detail abuse including the sexual abuse I went through in front of a room of strangers and became enraged when I cried and was confused. I was not allowed to even have a therapist with me. I had to be alone with my abuser multiple times. And the judge was completely misinformed about services offered involving custody. Yelling at me that he can't order things the mediator said he could such as supervised visitations at a facility. Yet he was very nice to my male abuser. They also exposed my address multiple times when repeatedly told to hide it. And the judge was only focused on leaving early. I have been permanently traumatized with anything involving court or police. I had to move because of them exposing my address. I become mentally unstable for months when i receive a letter from them. I wasnt like this before the experience. I witnessed that many of the lawyers had paid the judge part of his salary creating an unfair situation where it was clear the opposing felt they had no choice but to agree. And they were able to be heard before everyone else despite their appointment times that were set. Do not expect the help desk to help with filling out any documentation. And do not bring hand sanitizing sprays or perfume they will throw them away immediately instead of asking you to keep it out of the building.
None of this should have happened in the first place, please fix this. I do not want anyone else to go through what I did.

I reported for Jury duty today. Walking from the parking lot to the Fresno Courthouse is somewhat dangerous. So many homeless people. During my break I walk across to find some place to eat and some of the walk ways smelled very bad like human waste. And some homeless are smoking pot. The Mayor should do something about this problem.

Being called for jury duty is no one’s cup of tea, long drawn out, generally boring process…..however they give tons of potty or smoking (you do you) breaks so it’s not ALL that bad to do our due diligence as US citizens.
