Brand new (2021) renovated space in at the Gilroy Arts Center. Fabulous venue for showcasing the arts, including unique local artists and their works + live community theatre shows by South Valley Civic Theatre (Limelight by SVCT). "In the round" seating (everyone has seats surrounding the actors), along with food, drink and fun experiences.

What a great little coming theater! We went to see the show called A Nice Family Christmas. It was hilarious. The venue was small and intimate with plenty of parking. They have a small bar in the back. There's an art exhibit that you can enjoy during the intermission with some art pieces for sale as well. For added fun you can arrive early to eat a meal with your friends. You'd need to order your food the day before from nearby Milias restaurant and it will be delivered for you. It's perfect for a night out with friends and date night too!

Enjoyed our visit here, a nice place, with the Limelight Theatre also housed here. The art display featured work by the male inmates currently serving time in Elmwood Jail in Milpitas. I applaud the effort by the center for helping incarcerated people, who really need good programs to make life better when they are released. The hostess, was very nice and informative.

I attended a tribute for Donald Elvis Prieto. The staff did a wonderful job in welcoming friends and relatives. It was nice seeing friends come together for this special occasion. Donald gave back to our beautiful community that he thoroughly loved and even when he was very ill.

Went to see the play Ripcord. First play I've seen since Covid hit. Loved the play, laughed out loud a few times. First production I've seen there since it was bought my SVCT, who did nice job improving the playhouse.I love how intimate it is there. We will be back.
