I went to the courthouse last Friday morning (01/31/2025) with My Father. I was driving from Sacramento to Glenn County in the morning. I had to take care of a speeding ticket that My Father received through the mail. My Father paid off the speeding ticket immediately and that was it, nothing else.

I was treated like a felon. Apparently you can kill someone as a crime of passion and get away with it. But you can't send angry texts, vaguely threatening to your cheating ex wife.Judge Eckland wasa joke. She wouldn't realize a relevant fact if it bit her. Not to mention proper restraining order procedures. If something changes on the order. Say like a protected pet. Then that pet is given to
the one being restrained. The order should be re filed. Taking said protected pet off the order. Also the one being restrained from his children should not be forced to defend himself. In such an emotional state.It was a horrible joke. Othewise most other employees there were very nice and helpful.

Try to get ahold of the traffic line good luck typical lazy government employees, no answer just rings and rings until it hangs up. You "people" make me sick.

A place you don't really want to go unless you have to. The honorable Judge Byrd is a believer in recovery and hatt it does happen. The bailiffs have guns and will shoot if necessary and under no circumstances are you to communicate with anyone in custody if you are not in custody. Other than that the courtroom is nice lots of wood, very large collection of law books decent sound system and a very nice TV , with seating for about 80 people.

The family Court judge in Orland was Judge Judy style rude and the court clerk was absolutely positively the most unhelpful shrew ever.
Thankfully the women at the courthouse in Willows went above and beyond to help!
