High Bar Clayton is the perfect spot for a date night! The views are amazing, and the whole place has such a great vibe. We loved the baked ricotta and tua stack. The dirty martini was spot on too. Our server was super friendly and free valet was a bonus. Can't wait to come back!

Atmosphere was beautiful. Great for date night. The food was ok definitely wish they had a slightly larger selection. We got the chicken thighs and they were moist everything was ok. The baked ricotta was tasty…bread was a tad too hard and eat up quick because if the ricotta gets a little cool you’ll have a tough time spreading it. I’d still go back to try some other things and would be a nice vibe with a DJ on some nights

Busy when I went and service a little slow. Drinks were strong. Not the best espresso martini but it was fine. I don’t think they use real espresso. The Pesto Rigatoni was soooo yummy though. The pine nuts on it gave it a nice touch.

10s across the board. Decor and ambiance? Very nice! Views even better. I had the Italian Flatbread and it was so good. For drinks I had the Boulevadier and a Sidecar. The Sidecar was one of the best I've had. My friend had the charcuterie bento box and she enjoyed it. This is a best behavior type of setting.

Love High Bar! Went for mine and my mom’s birthday. The chef sent out a birthday brownie dessert which made our day extra special. Food and drinks are incredible. Definitely a new STL staple bar!

A well overdue spot high in the sky in Clayton. Great place for a nightcap or late night bites. Friendly staff. Decent views of skyline. Moody enough aesthetic to be comfortable and cozy. They make a great espresso martini. Apparently the truffle fries are something to die for.

High Bar in Clayton is a welcome addition to St. Louis’ dining scene. We love the views and a menu that caters perfectly to pescatarians. #stlouispescatarianspproved The ambiance is modern and chic, snd the back lit bar is everything!

The food here does not disappoint! The tuna tartare on toast is a must-try. The citrus shrimp is light, zesty, and absolutely delicious. And whatever you do, don’t sleep on the truffle fries! They’re crispy and yummy!

Disappointing experience overall. We had reservations for 4 at 5pm on a Sunday. We called earlier that afternoon to see if they could move our reservation to later due to a veterinary emergency. They said no, which we totally understood. Then they sat us at a lounge table super low to the ground. The table choice is insane. It would be fine for cocktails but we had dinner reservations. See photos attached. The table was crowded and we were basically squatting over our food. So uncomfortable and absolutely no view (what we came for) since the windows are all high. The food was fine, nothing special. Ordered a cocktail that had to be sent back because they didn’t include half the ingredients, it was basically just tequila on ice . They fixed the drink. We notice that the place never filled up. One other reservation of 4 came, (they were seated at a normal height table) and maybe 2 other walk in parties sat at the bar. So why couldn’t our reservation be moved to later? It was wide open when we left at 7. And why would they seat a party of four at a literal coffee table? Our waitress was very friendly and attentive though.
