This is a nice place to have a casual dinner or just a drink. I had the kale salad with shrimp. There were a lot of great ingredients in the salad, although the kale was tough to eat. The stems were particularly chewy. My husband had the scallops with risotto. Although the scallops were great, the risotto was a little heavy. Our server was very attentive and courteous.

I had the 1/2 chicken that came with Mac and cheese and a savory slaw. It was a 10/10. Everything was perfectly seasoned and all items complimented each other. I had the s'mores for dessert 6/10, tastes better at home after putting in the microwave. The waiter was friendly but not as tentative as we'd like and the service was rather slow. I would recommend visiting if you have time to spare.

What an amazing dining experience. Not your typical "hotel" restaurant. From the cozy atmosphere to the friendly, professional, knowledgeable service to the menu that featured quail, venison, farm raised chicken, etc. this was one of the best meals I've had in awhile. First up was a delicious seasonal cocktail, followed by warm house baked bread and rosemary dipping oil. Then I tried the stuffed quail appetizer. Honesty that could have been a meal in itsef, served over sautéed kale. The skin was crispy, the meat tender and juicy. For my entree I tried the coffee-rubbed venison with cherries. Again perfectly seasoned and cooked to a medium-rare. I couldn't resist the dessert menu. After debating between the cobbler and lemon posset, I chose the posset because it's the first time I've ever seen it on a restaurant menu. From start to finish, the meal was perfection. I would definitely go back.

The place has a great vibe, but the food didn't meet my expectations. We came for dinner; I ordered the steak, and my partner had the half chicken. The steak was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, but the chicken was just "okay." The sides were served extremely cold, which honestly ruined the experience for me. For the price, I expected everything to be close to perfect. I believe they would have corrected the issues if I had mentioned them, but I’m non-confrontational and was just ready to leave. The drinks were good, but I won’t be returning.

Usually, I am SUPER biased when it comes to hotel restaurants. Most times, the food is expensive, and the quality/taste ends up being subpar. That is not the case with Ironwood! It is geared more toward wine/alcohol aficionados, but the food is also amazing!

I had the chicken and dumplings, and it was AMAZING! It is not the traditional chicken and dumplings you're used to seeing with shredded or chunked chicken with the ooey gooey dumpling dough. The chicken is actually a small leg quarter that was seasoned perfectly (and reheated well). The chicken was set atop a mixture of veggies (carrots, corn, and peas) with integrated small dumpling pieces in a chicken cream sauce. The dish is a VERY generous portion. I was able to eat half and took the remainder to go. My lunch companion had the salmon, and loved it but said it was a little salty. My lunch companion also requested some dinner rolls to accompany the meal. The dinner rolls lacked flavor, and we're basted in a tad too much butter.

Overall, the meal was excellent and the service was really great. I will definitely be returning again!

Everything about this place was amazing. The food was SO GOOD! Beautiful interior, classic style. Service was great and our server was very helpful with any questions we had or any recommendations. Perfect for a date.

Great beautiful place but food IDK. Between the 4 of us we had the pork chop. The grouper special and the chicken and dumplings

Do not expect much from the chicken and dumplings. Ver dissatisfying and the manager only gave a slight discount when my wife complained. The pork chop. Was beautiful but tough. The grouper was perfectly cooked but the toppings took away from it

Please revamp the menu and get more attentive waitresses

Went to Ironwood for dinner last weekend and really enjoyed it. We tried several of their dishes and loved them all. We started with the bacon which was a popular choice and it was amazing. I ordered the oysters and these were super fresh. The octopus is a great option too. Our server was very kind and knowledgeable and was very attentive as well. Prices are a bit on the high side which is expected for the type of restaurant and the neighborhood that it’s in but if you feel like splurging on a Friday night we definitely recommend.
