This place has a great atmosphere . The restaurant space is a little bit small, making it feel more like a cozy spot to enjoy drinks with friends while having some food on the side. We ordered the shrimp toast, Korean rice cakes, fried chicken, and pasta. The shrimp toast was the highlight—absolutely delicious! Paired with drinks, it was a perfect combination. We had the Sonagi, which is ideal for those who enjoy sweeter drinks.

For parking, you can try street parking, but it might be a bit challenging. There’s also a valet parking lot behind the restaurant for $16.50.

The vibe is cool, but I have a lot of issues with the food. I think we’ve all gotten a little carried away with the whole “tapas” thing. I came here because the picture of the kimchi vodka rigatoni looked really good, but was disappointed to see how small the portion size is. Now, I think the tapas thing could have been cool - people could try a bunch of small dishes as they chat and drink. Yes, very cute. What’s not cute is charging people full entree prices for a tiny portion and slapping the “tapas” label on it to justify it. I mean, no matter how you look at it, it’s a tiny plate of pasta that you’re charging $21 for. $21 is a price for a regular portion of pasta, not the kid’s meal portion they served to us. It was good pasta though. Maybe a little runny but that’s the least of its problems.

And the Chimmelier KFC was some of the worst fried chicken I’ve ever had. It was so dry. It was essentially popcorn chicken - stuff I would expect from a Tastea (except Tastea’s would taste better). And the biggest joke is that they’re charging $25 for it.

The Meat Jeon… it was a very good omelette. Like if you told me it was just eggs, I would’ve been like “oh this is a really good omelette.” But this was the eggiest Jeon I’ve ever had. There was almost no flour content in it. I don’t think you could call it a batter. It tasted like if you had nothing in your fridge and decided to crack some eggs in a bowl, whisk ‘em up, and fry them with some bulgogi you had leftover in your fridge. With some sliced green onion on top. There, I just described to you exactly how it tasted.

My drink was the Kace Study. I actually wanted to try the Makgeoli, but our server recommended this cocktail to me. It was ok. Soju with a hint of tea flavor without the biting feeling of alcohol with a stick of gummy bears in it. It was good. Very clean, but kinda simple. Lowkey I’ve made a better version using the peach tea in the pink pouches at Hmart and mixing it with peach soju.

Service was decent. We were sat immediately. It was kinda hard to hear our server because it was so loud. I asked for recommendations but I couldn’t hear a thing she said to me haha.

I know I had a lot of complaints, but I actually think this place has potential. It’s a good concept and some of the stuff tasted good. I think that there is some stuff that needs to go back to the drawing board before it is a decent place.

Came for my birthday and I have to say this is now one of my favorite go-tos. Everything was over my expectation from the restaurant's ambience, service, to food. The waiter was always attendent, had the best recommendation, and even provided us with birthday shots! What's even better is the food.. as much as I am picky with my food, their yukjun was out of the world. Better yet, they carry a series of local makkeoli which perfectly pairs with the varieties of food they provide. As much as I love the vibe of the bar, the bar is small, so make sure to make a reservation before you go!

A vibey place with such good food. I can't stop thinking about the kimchi rigatoni (I get mine without bacon) 🤤, also love love the shrimp toast and the uni tteok-bokki was really rich, great for sharing and taste like a take on mac and cheese. This is a great place to hang out and catch up with friends. Reservations recommended!

Ordered the Meat Jeon, Uni Tteokbokki, Rigatoni Alla Kimchi Vodka, Chimmelier KFC, and Pork Jowl Jeyuk. The Meat Jeon uses a bulgogi type of marinated meat and was very easy to pull apart, the flavor is distinctly bulgogi throughout. The Uni Tteokbokki was a cheese sauce creamy dish consisting of the tteokbokki (rice cakes) and the cheese sauce with salmon roe on top. It’s a pleasant chewy texture and the sauce pairs well. The Rigatoni Alla Kimchi Vodka has noticeable flavor profiles of kimchi and vodka. The pasta had a good vodka taste along with the slight kick from the kimchi spice. The Chimmelier KFC was a classic inspired by Korean fried chicken, it’s an easy pick to recommend if you’re unsure; it also comes with a gochujang dipping sauce and some marinated radish cubes. The Pork Jowl Jeyuk was a crowd favorite. The thick cuts made me a little apprehensive at first but I realized they were a good size to see the cooked quality of the pork. This pork is very juicy, and has a firm but smooth texture when biting into it. Service was very fast and efficient at getting all we needed and bringing the food in a timely manner. The ambiance resembles Korean urban culture. On the one wall, there’s a beautiful piece of artwork and on the other wall, you have a traditional drink pot among other more classic Korean piece.

Fun spot - good food, good drinks, upbeat vibe. Each dish surprised me with delicious twists, the tuna dip and rigatoni are stand outs, you must order. The pickles/cucumbers are a tasty fresh crunch. Next time would skip the KFC, it’s the only thing we ordered that wasn’t special. Ktown street parking so be prepared to circle endlessly. Spent ~$150 for three
