Lake View Hideaway is a beautiful place. We took a visit here for the Fourth of July, and had the pleasure of seeing a firework show across the lake. On top of that we had this oasis with SO many relaxing areas, all with their own amazing view. Whether that be a lake, a butterfly garden, or Mother Nature passing by your cabin. The best part is while enjoying being in nature in a beautiful place, your comforts of home do not have to be compromised! Comfy beds, lovely AC, and functioning kitchen, and bathroom. (I tend to camp more so these things are bliss)
You are no stranger here; Sam made us feel right at home with a tour, and answering any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends, and would love to visit again someday.

Its been 5 days, 5 days of run away from the world - no tv, barely got phone signal . Just me, my partner, our dog and 100% nature! 🌷🌹🌻
Thank you Sam and Don for the hospitality and for the time at the spa (face treatment, haircut and pedicure). We will be back next year for sure!
It so quiet over there, everything is filled with colorful flowers and a lot of effort, every detail give you the best environment to hideaway from the world. In your own peaceful place over the lake of the Ozarks 🌲

My husband and I were only able to spend one night at the Lakeview Hideaway Retreat and it wasn’t nearly enough! This place is spectacular!! Sam and Don have created a slice of heaven! The gardens, cabins, sheds, spa, trails, treehouse…I could go on and on! Sam is a visionary who takes great pride in not only making the property a magical, beautiful oasis, but making your experience magical is possibly even more important to him! He is so kind, and will spend his valuable time visiting with you and talking, never acting as if you’re encroaching on his space or keeping him from his work. He meets you when you arrive and walks you around the property, explaining everything to you, and pointing out anything you might need to know. The cabins smell AMAZING! The towels were fluffy and soft, and the shower had hot water for those achy muscles!! It was our anniversary and he had a gorgeous arraignment of peonies and irises from his gardens waiting for us, as well as a sign wishing us a happy anniversary. I peaked in his spa…oh my gosh! I can’t wait to go back and get a hot stone massage. The treehouse is a place I could have spent hours in, reading a book, listening to the wind through the trees, and the waves hitting the bluffs! I want to tell everyone I know about this place, yet want to keep it my own secret so I know I can go back anytime I want! If you’re looking for a place that is secluded, romantic, whimsical, and restful, this is your place! Sam will make sure you feel at home and welcome!

My stay in one of the cabins was total joy and peace. This place is a hidden gem, a little paradise. Very nice! Sam is an amazing host. I will go back, for sure!

A great place to step off the merry-go-round and just breathe for a while. Sam and Don spare nothing making sure their guests are well taken care of. Plenty of hot water, super comfortable beds and AC. And it's super quiet. What more do you need to relax. So many beautiful vantage points to see the lake. Give the Tree House a try. Well worth the staircase down and back for a peaceful place to watch the boats putter by. I recommend any of the spa treatments, especially the hot stone. Sam is a radiant human being whose energy puts you at ease while helping you relax and enjoy yourself. And put your hair in his experienced hands. Mine never looked better! One last thing, you can get a phone signal, but you wont' need it. You won't want to.

Spent a wonderful weekend here with a couple dear friends. It was so peaceful and relaxing, and the grounds are just beautiful! We really enjoyed our spa services with Sam. His professionalism and pride in what he does was obvious and made the experience exceptional! He made us feel right at home and I look forward to a return trip! Thank you for a fabulous weekend getaway!

Wonderful 3-day escape gave us a totally new view of the Lake of the Ozarks. Great setting on top of the bluff, but still has direct access to the water. Beautifully furnished cabins with multiple other unique buildings for relaxing or getting together with your group. Sam & Don are great hosts & you should book some treatments at The Spa!

The Lake View Hideaway was one of the best vacations i’ve had EVER! The scenery is beautiful, the hospitality was amazing, everything was so clean, and the hosts were the sweetest people! Sam and Don really know how to put together a retreat! I can’t wait for our next vacation up here!
