I love this place and will die on the hill this is the best Steakhouse in the area!! I’ve celebrated my birthday, some holidays, and anniversary here 🤍 I always tell people to take the drive for the food and atmosphere ! (Photos included) We got super lucky for our anniversary as it landed on the first thursday of the month and me and my boyfriend split the tomahawk and STILL had leftovers. I have never had a bad meal or experience here !!

Camerin S was our server and is excellent. The food was fantastic, and the restaurant is kid-friendly with tables covered with paper for them to draw on. The food came out quick, for those with hungry and impatient kids. We had the prime rib and crème brûlée for dessert. Will definitely be coming back.

Wife and I had our 7th anniversary dinner (10/20). First time eating at the steakhouse. The food was great, service was good and we enjoyed ourselves. Definitely worth the trip out there.

First time to Lassen Steakhouse. Atmosphere and service was great. Had the end pieces for appetizer and the ribeye steak. Every thing felt a tad overly salted/flavored. The asparagus came with the ribeye, it should have been lightly salted, but it was covered in a powdered Parmesan cheese. Little over powering. Steak was cooked just right.

We just had dinner there last night and unfortunately, the experience wasn't even remotely satisfactory. We had reservations for 5:00 so got there a little early and were seated right away at a table close to the front door (pretty drafty). We ordered appetizers and drinks which came promptly, but for the next hour we were completely ignored. Our dinner order hadn't been taken, plates hadn't been picked up, drinks hadn't been refreshed, and it was extremely difficult get the waitress' attention. We watched people come in, be seated, order, eat, and then leave before we could catch the waitress' attention. When we finally did, after more than an hour, and said 'excuse me' so she'd come over, she plopped herself down at the end of the table and VERY loudly snapped she "WAS JUST COMING TO TAKE YOUR ORDER!" People stared. It was embarrassing. We ordered Prime Rib, Rib Eye, New York Steak and 2 Burgers. We were advised if you order anything 'Rare' it will come out cold, so we all ordered 'Medium Rare''. Still no movement to refresh anyone's drink or bring out more bread. Shortly after taking the dinner order she came back and said her shift was over so we'd be getting a new waitress. The food came out and all the meat, except the burgers, was barely warm - let alone cooked. Great sides, you'll need to ask if you ever want your drinks refilled, but they did give my daughter a piece of Birthday Cake with a sparkler, which was very nice. Our new waitress was fantastic and did everything she could to try and salvage the rest of the night for us, but if you intend to eat dinner here - be aware of just how bad it can go. Dinner was $210 for 3 adults and 2 kids. At this price point I think we all expected a little better.

His warmth and genuine interest in making my party special were evident, and he graciously accommodated my schedule for an in-person meeting, considering I live in the Bay Area.

Together, we crafted a personalized menu that perfectly captured the essence of my celebration. Wes's attention to detail and prompt communication via email made planning a breeze, ensuring that everything from the cake delivery to the day-of logistics was flawlessly executed.

The venue itself is a hidden oasis, with a stunning outdoor space that provided the ideal backdrop for my party. But the true star of the show was the food—each dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. My guests couldn't stop raving about it!

This is a hidden gem of a steakhouse. The food was delicious. Our server, Camerin, was cheerful and attentive. The wine from the nearby New Clairvaux Monastery is exquisite. The appetizers were very good and the steak was cooked exactly as ordered. If I could change one thing, it would be that the steak be cut slightly thicker, but I'm not complaining. Definitely going back if I happen to pass through the area again.
