Even though Lucky Strike has only been open for a few weeks, this place is SO AWESOME! Of course the bowling and video games are a blast but the food and service is equally amazing. They works their butts off to create a great experience for guests and we will be visiting frequently and often! 💥

You like bowling? You like being able to bowl near somewhere to your high score? Well that may not happen here because they put more money into there arcade than into the actual bowling alley itself. When walking in, I thought I was at the wrong place because I was literally flashed with bright lights from the huge arcade. For a minute, I thought I was in Dave & Busters. Not to mention that I couldn’t even see the bowling lanes until I got to the front desk. I feel like if you advertise as a bowling alley, you should probably have the bowling alley visible first before the arcade.

First, never go to a corner lane next to the wall as you will feel cramped. I personally felt like this as I was placed in lane 2. Compared to other reviews I read, there was no complications with getting a lane. However, I would rather be put next to people with no sense of bowling etiquette then be next to a wall.

Second, if you bowl with some type of spin on the ball and don’t have a lot of power, you might as well give up on that because you will just gutter every time. I have been bowling for 6+ years consistently and I have never gotten scores so bad since I first started bowling at the age of 5. I couldn’t even use my $300+ ball at this lane because the ball wouldn’t even cross halfway through the lane without it swerving back to the area I just bowled from. Even when I switched up the bowling balls to the ones provided to you, the holes in the bowling ball were so greasy and slippery and they were inconsistent when it came to how much spin I placed on the ball.

Third was the bowling lane itself. Besides the horrible placement of the lane being next to a wall, there was little dents on my lane as well has a hitch in the lane that made my ball bounce while spinning. Not to mention my ball was chipped because of the hitch. I couldn’t even move where I wanted to go because there would be a wait. Not to mention that there was strings on the bowling pins which I absolutely hate because they effect the motions of the bowling pins when hit. There were certain points in the game where pins would just fall because the strings would knock them over when they stretched across the lane. I even tried calling this place in advance before going here to ask about this specific feature and I couldn’t get in contact with anyone for 3 hours! You could imagine my surprise when I showed up to the place and there were 3 young men and women standing around doing absolutely nothing behind the counter.

I understand that this place is new and there are many changes that needed to be made, but I have never felt so horrible coming out of a bowling alley. I do have to say that the staff and customer service was excellent although the prices for food were outrageously high. 18$ for a burger and fries is literally highway robbery.

To conclude my statement, if you’re just a family just looking for a fun experience, go here. But if you’re competitive or even slightly competitive about your game and you have some type of spin with not as much power, don’t go here. You will feel frustrated bowling even if you adjust your form or foot placement. Again, this place is new so I’ll give it some time and maybe I’ll come back but as of right now, I’m sticking with the Bowlero in Corona.

Great place to have a party if you aren’t competitive. We didn’t know that they weren’t real pins and are on strings. The on action is horrible. Pins fall that shouldn’t and some stay up that should have fallen. Great for kids but it’s not true bowling. Very disappointed that they cut corners and went this direction. Unfortunately we won’t be back. We are a competitive crew and this set up it’s a fair playing field. We spent $1400 on a birthday party and were bummed to learn that they were on a string pin system. Great atmosphere, but quality of bowling is sub par.

There is literally no oil on the lane. I threw the same ball for a full game, and no oil to wipe from the ball. Don't even think about hooking because it will gutter at 1 rpm. We ordered milkshakes and did not get them after a 45+ minute wait, had to remind them because they completely forgot.

Don’t get me wrong, my husband and I had an amazing time bowling. My two star review is strictly due to the tipping situation we experienced upon check out. It was standard, we dropped our shoes off and went to pay for our time (mind you this was a different employee checking us out than the one who checked us in). We racked up a fun total of 14 games, did not purchase food or drinks- no problem. However, on the receipt we see 3 tipping options (all of course in the $20 range) and no adjusted tip line. When my husband acquired about it this employee responded confidently, “Yes those tips are your three options, that 20% $25 tip would go to me”……
For what She was not only okay with taking a tip she did not do anything for, but for a substantially ridiculous amount of $25 AND it was expected? Of course I understand if we had ordered food, drinks, or had any additional services in which she helped us with alongside bowling. We were given no other gratitude options besides those 3 hearty tips. To give this employee $25 for checking us out and for taking our shoes? Both ridiculous and absurd. It’s a little disgraceful to take money you did not earn. My recommendation- ask about pricing and WHO the tips go to. Great time bowling, it was clean and fun, but did not appreciate check outs greed.

I was really impressed with the next level quality and service provided here at Lucky Strike. Our server Courtney was exceptional. She went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of especially when my little 2 year old got an owie. Thank you Courtney for making our experience fun and memorable. We will be back at Lucky Strike!

Took my two Grandsons to Lucky Strike Ladera Ranch today. When they visit they always want to go bowling, so it was either Mission Viejo or Lake Forest. But, someone had told me about this place... closer to San Clemente where I live and just a dynamo bowling alley with the cleanest, nicest, newest alley I have ever encountered.

Shout out to Sean and to Sal for their unbelievable great personalities and professionalism, made my Grandboys feel really special and totally went out of their way to make our experience incredible.

If you are a bowler and you have not experienced these lanes you are really missing out. Once you bowl here, impossible to go anywhere else. The price was also a deal.

Thanks for the great atmosphere, fun people and the cleanest place I have ever been in... thank you thank you thank you.
