I see movies once a week—sometimes up to three times—and I’ve visited countless theaters both locally and while traveling. Without a doubt, the Marcus Saint Charles 18 Cine is the best theater experience I’ve ever had. The staff here are truly exceptional—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely caring.

Nick and Cathy at the ticket counter always go above and beyond. They're personable, kind, and make you feel like part of the Marcus family. They even find ways to relate to the movie you're seeing, which adds such a personal touch to the experience.

The concession staff is top-notch as well. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Javon, a new employee who really impressed me. Not only did he tell me something that stuck with me—“I prepare the concessions the way I’d want them”—but he also demonstrated it in action. He perfectly layered the popcorn with the ideal popcorn-to-butter ratio, all while holding a friendly and engaging conversation with us. That kind of attention to detail and customer care is rare and deserves recognition.

We are truly blessed to have such an amazing team at the Saint Charles 18 Cine. Thank you all for making every visit something to look forward to!

Overall a nice venue to enjoy a movie with the family. The theaters have stadium seating, reclining chairs and the sound is very good.

The food is pricey as you might expect.

My only gripe really is the movies start long after the scheduled time. Way too many ads and movie trailers.

This was our second year attending the mothers day brunch at the movie theater. Last year we went to a different theater and I thought that was great, but this year was even better! We arrived at the theater and was told to fix our plate and go find our seats because they attach trays to the seat that holds your plate and drink. This year they included popcorn for the movie and afterwards, we were served cookies to take with us! I love these brunches and I will attend again next year. The movie was also a good movie, it was new so we hadn't seen it yet. You have to attend this event just for the experience!

If I could give manager Kyle 5 stars I would, but Marcus Theatre clearly has no idea how to provide the services they offer. That man runs around and fixes problems he’s given like no other, even when he’s not included on the plans. Group sales plopped a huge problem in his lap and then basically shrugged and didn’t bother to get back in contact with him all night of the party and the weeks leading up to it.

I paid $528.26 for a group theatre for my kiddos birthday party and it was the most disjointed and frankly awkward system. I attempted to pay the bill multiple times and kept being told the system wasn’t ready. I came with cash and card, and had to beg to pay because the date for RSVP’s came and went and group sales still hadn't figured out how to allow me to pay.

And don’t even get me started on how absurd it is that Kyle reached out for support from group sales twice during the nearly 3 hours we were there and they never even bothered to reply to their manager that was trying to help a kids birthday party run smoothly. It was clear that group sales did not communicate to Kyle considering they didn't even inform him I had paid! He had to verify that I even paid because group sales communication is so poor.

We also had a confusion because Kyle had the understanding drinks and popcorn wasn’t included, but I was under the understanding on the contract that every package comes with it. I had been waiting back for an email on how to do drinks and popcorn pick up or selection, I still haven’t gotten that email back, and the party happened 1/29. Maybe if group sales had bothered to respond to the email we could have clarified things and not left a customer and a manager in the dark to duke it out and figure out what’s going on in half an hour before the movies start

So, truthfully, 5 stars to Kyle for not only running around the theaters fixing things, grabbing ladders and tools, but also managing to host a birthday party with no information on it while doing that, but I’d give a generous 2 stars to Marcus Theatre and how they communicate with literally anyone else. I added an extra star for having the service to offer, just needs major improvements.

The movie was great and so is the food! Everyone working was wonderful as well! The only problem was that the chairs in row a in theater 3 on the far side to the right we're all broken. These need to be addressed to ensure viewers have the most comfortable and enjoyable time. Otherwise everything else was really good!
